Lift not up your horn on high: speak not iniquity against God.

Everything lies in shambles like a forest chopped to the ground. They came with their axes and sledgehammers and smashed and chopped the carved paneling;
While your people were at worship, your enemies barged in, brawling and scrawling graffiti. They set fire to the porch; axes swinging, they chopped up the woodwork, Beat down the doors with sledgehammers, then split them into kindling. They burned your holy place to the ground, violated the place of worship. They said to themselves, “We’ll wipe them all out,” and burned down all the places of worship.
But now they strike down its carved work altogether with axes and hammers.
They smashed all its carved paneling with axes and hatchets.
They smashed all its engraved work, struck it with ax and pick.
And now they break down all its carved work With axe and hammers.
And now all its carved work They smash with hatchet and hammers.
And then, with hatchets and hammers, they bludgeoned all the carved work.
They smashed the carved panels with their axes and hatchets.
And now they are tearing down all its engravings with axes and crowbars.
They smashed all the beautiful wooden walls with their axes and hatchets.
They smashed all the carved paneling with their axes and hatchets.

All of its fine work has been broken with axes and sticks.
With axes and picks, they smashed the carved paneling.
And then, with hatchets and hammers, they smashed all its carved work.

But now they break down the carved panels [of the Beis HaMikdash] at once with hammers and chisels.

They hacked up all the beautifully carved items, smashed them to splinters with their axes and hammers.
