he runneth upon Him, even on His neck, with the thick bosses of his bucklers.
He runneth upon him with a stiff neck, With the thick bosses of his bucklers;
Running and charging headlong against Him With his ornamented and massive shield;
Running stubbornly against Him with a thickly ornamented shield;
He runneth upon him, even on his neck, upon the thick bosses of his bucklers:
He rushes headlong at him with his thick, studded shields.
He rushes headlong at him with his thick, studded shields.
They run toward him aggressively, with a massive and strong shield.
running against him with head held high and thickly ornamented shield.
and have attacked him with their weapons.
He runneth against him, with [outstretched] neck, with the thick bosses of his bucklers;
He hath run against him with his neck raised up, and is armed with a fat neck.
like a soldier with a thick, strong shield who runs at his enemy to strike him in the neck.
He is proud enough to attack God. He holds a big shield as he runs to attack God!
He charges at him defiantly with a thick shield.
running stubbornly against him with a thickly bossed shield;
running stubbornly against him with a thickly bossed shield;
They ·stubbornly [defiantly] charge at God with ·thick, strong [L thick-bossed; C the boss is the convex centerpiece] shields.
Therefore God shall run upon him, even upon his neck, and against the most thick part of his shield.
He stubbornly charges at him with a thick shield.
They are proud and rebellious; they stubbornly hold up their shields and rush to fight against God.
He rushes headlong at Him with his thick, studded shields.
He stubbornly charges at God with a thick, strong shield.
He defiantly ran against him carrying his thick, reinforced shield.
he shall run him through in the neck, upon the thick shoulder pieces of his shields;
He runneth upon him, even on his neck, upon the thick bosses of his bucklers:

He rushes headlong at Him With his massive shield.
he stubbornly runs against him with his thick-bossed shield.
Armed with his tin shield, he clenches his fist against God, defying the Almighty, stubbornly assaulting him.
“I’ve a thing or two to tell you, so listen up! I’m letting you in on my views; It’s what wise men and women have always taught, holding nothing back from what they were taught By their parents, back in the days when they had this land all to themselves: Those who live by their own rules, not God’s, can expect nothing but trouble, and the longer they live, the worse it gets. Every little sound terrifies them. Just when they think they have it made, disaster strikes. They despair of things ever getting better— they’re on the list of people for whom things always turn out for the worst. They wander here and there, never knowing where the next meal is coming from— every day is doomsday! They live in constant terror, always with their backs up against the wall Because they insist on shaking their fists at God, defying God Almighty to his face, Always and ever at odds with God, always on the defensive.

Rushing defiantly against him, with the stout bosses of his shields.
He rushes headlong at Him With his massive shield.

They boldly charge against him with their thick, strong shields.

Running stubbornly against Him With his strong, embossed shield.
He rushes in pride against Him with his big battle-covering.
Holding their strong shields, they defiantly charge against him.

He charges against Him, with a stiff neck, with the thick bosses of his mogen (shield);
“running upon Him, with the most thick part of his shield.

defiantly rushing at Him with a thick, strong shield.
He runs at Him, headlong, headstrong, and leads his charge behind the thick protection of a massive shield.
he runs at him with a stiff neck, with the thick shields of his bucklers,
He ran with his neck raised up against God, and he was armed with a fat noll. (He ran with his head raised up against God, and he was armed with a stiff neck, or he was stubborn.)
He runneth unto Him with a neck, With thick bosses of his shields.
