They helped every one his neighbor, and every one said to his brother, “Be of good courage.”
They help every one his neighbor; and every one saith to his brother, Be of good courage.
They each help his neighbor And say to his brother [as he fashions his idols], “Be of good courage!”
They help every one his neighbor and say to his brother [in his tiresome idol making], Be of good courage!

Each one helps the other, and says to another, “Take courage!”

Every one helps his fellow workman, everyone says to his brother, “Be strong!”
Worshipers of idols comfort each other, saying, “Don't worry!”
They helped every one his neighbour, and [each] said to his brother, Take courage.
Every one shall help his neighbour, and shall say to his brother: Be of good courage.
“Workers help each other. They encourage each other to be strong.
They help each other, and they say to one another, “Be strong!” ’
Each one assists his neighbor, and to his brother he says, “Be strong.”
Everyone helps his neighbor and says to his brother, “Be strong!”
Everyone helps his neighbour and says to his brother, “Be strong!”

Every man helped his neighbor, and said to his brother, Be strong.
People help their neighbors and say to their relatives, “Be brave!”
The skilled workers help and encourage each other.
Each one helps the other, and says to another, “Take courage!”
The workers help each other. They say to each other, “Be strong!”

The craftsmen encourage each other as they rush to make new idols to protect them. The carver hurries the goldsmith, and the molder helps at the anvil. “Good,” they say. “It’s coming along fine. Now we can solder on the arms.” Carefully they join the parts together and then fasten the thing in place so it won’t fall over!
“Far-flung ocean islands see it and panic. The ends of the earth are shaken. Fearfully they huddle together. They try to help each other out, making up stories in the dark. The godmakers in the workshops go into overtime production, crafting new models of no-gods, Urging one another on—‘Good job!’ ‘Great design!’— pounding in nails at the base so that the things won’t tip over.
Every one helped his neighbor, and every one said to his brother, “Be of good courage.”

Each his neighbour they help, And to his brother he saith, `Be strong.'
