Blessed is the man whom Thou chastenest, O Lord, and teachest him out of Thy law,
Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O Jehovah, And teachest out of thy law;
Blessed [with wisdom and prosperity] is the man whom You discipline and instruct, O Lord, And whom You teach from Your law,
Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man whom You discipline and instruct, O Lord, and teach out of Your law,
Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O Lord, and teachest him out of thy law;
Lord, how happy is anyone you discipline and teach from your law
The people you discipline, Lord, are truly happy— the ones you teach from your Instruction—
How happy the man whom you correct, Yah, whom you teach from your Torah,
Our Lord, you bless everyone that you instruct and teach by using your Law.
Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O Jah, and whom thou teachest out of thy law;
Lord, great blessings belong to those you discipline, to those you teach from your law.
Lord, when you teach people what is right, you have really blessed them. You use your Law to teach them.
How blessed is the person whom you discipline, O Lord, whom you teach from your law.
Blessed is the man whom you discipline, O Lord, and whom you teach out of your law,
Blessed is the man whom you discipline, O Lord, and whom you teach out of your law,
Lord, those you ·correct [instruct; discipline] are ·happy [blessed]; you teach them from your ·law [instruction; teaching].
Blessed is the man whom thou chastisest, O Lord, and teachest him in thy Law,
O Lord, blessed is the person whom you discipline and instruct from your teachings.
Lord, how happy are those you instruct, the ones to whom you teach your law!
Lord, happy is the man You discipline and teach from Your law
Lord, those you correct are happy. You give them your teachings.
How blessed is the man whom you instruct, Lord, whom you teach from your Law,
¶ Blessed is the man whom thou dost chasten, O JAH, and teach him out of thy law,
Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O Lord, and teachest him out of thy law;
Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O Lord, and teachest him out of thy law;
Blessed is the man whom You discipline, O Yah, And whom You teach out of Your law;
Blessed is the man, O Yah, whom you instruct and teach from your law,
so he helps us by punishing us. This makes us follow his paths and gives us respite from our enemies while God traps them and destroys them.
How blessed the man you train, God, the woman you instruct in your Word, Providing a circle of quiet within the clamor of evil, while a jail is being built for the wicked. God will never walk away from his people, never desert his precious people. Rest assured that justice is on its way and every good heart put right.

Blessed the one whom you guide, Lord, whom you teach by your instruction,

Happy is the man who is punished until he gives up sin, O Lord, and whom You teach from Your Law.
Joyful are those you discipline, Lord, those you teach with your instructions.
