When I consider Thy heavens, the work of Thy fingers, the moon and the stars which Thou hast ordained,
When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, The moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
When I see and consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have established,
When I view and consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained and established,
When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
When I observe your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you set in place,
When I observe your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you set in place,
When I look up at your skies, at what your fingers made— the moon and the stars that you set firmly in place—
From the mouths of babies and infants at the breast you established strength because of your foes, in order that you might silence the enemy and the avenger.
I often think of the heavens your hands have made, and of the moon and stars you put in place.
When I see thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and stars, which thou hast established;
Out of the mouth of infants and of sucklings thou hast perfected praise, because of thy enemies, that thou mayst destroy the enemy and the avenger.
I look at the heavens you made with your hands. I see the moon and the stars you created.
You made the skies with your own hands. When I look up, I see the moon and the stars. You have put them all in their right place.
Whenever I look up at your heavens, the works of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place—
When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,

I look at your heavens, ·which you made with [L the work of] your fingers. I see the moon and stars, which you ·created [L established; Gen. 1:17–18].
When I behold thine heavens, even the works of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained,
When I look at your heavens, the creation of your fingers, the moon and the stars that you have set in place—
When I look at the sky, which you have made, at the moon and the stars, which you set in their places—
When I observe Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You set in place,
I look at the heavens, which you made with your hands. I see the moon and stars, which you created.
When I look at the heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars that you established—
¶ When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;

When I see Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have established;
When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars which you set in place—
When I look up into the night skies and see the work of your fingers—the moon and the stars you have made—
I look up at your macro-skies, dark and enormous, your handmade sky-jewelry, Moon and stars mounted in their settings. Then I look at my micro-self and wonder, Why do you bother with us? Why take a second look our way?
When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have established,
When I look at your heavens, the creation of your fingers, the moon and the stars that you have set in place—
with the mouths of babes and infants. You have established a bulwark against your foes, to silence enemy and avenger.
When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have set in place;
When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained;
Out of the mouths of newborn babes and infants you have brought forth praise as a bulwark against your foes, to silence the enemy and the avenger.
I look at your heavens, which you made with your fingers. I see the moon and stars, which you created.
When I look up at the heavens, which your fingers made, and see the moon and the stars, which you set in place,
I think about the heavens. I think about what your fingers have created. I think about the moon and stars that you have set in place.
When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,

When I look up and think about Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have set in their place,
When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers— the moon and the stars you set in place—
When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars that you have established;

Out of the mouths of babies and toddlers You established power, because of Your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.
When I gaze to the skies and meditate on Your creation— on the moon, stars, and all You have made,
When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have ordained,
For I shall see thine heavens, the works of thy fingers; the moon and the stars, which thou hast founded.
For I see Thy heavens, a work of Thy fingers, Moon and stars that Thou didst establish.
