Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked, from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity,
Hide me from the secret counsel of evil-doers, From the tumult of the workers of iniquity;
Hide me from the secret counsel and conspiracy of the ungodly, From the scheming of those who do wrong,
Hide me from the secret counsel and conspiracy of the ungodly, from the scheming of evildoers,
Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:
Hide me from the scheming of wicked people, from the mob of evildoers,
Hide me from the scheming of wicked people, from the mob of evildoers,
Hide me from the secret plots of wicked people; hide me from the schemes of evildoers
Hear my voice, God, as I plead: preserve my life from fear of the enemy.
Keep me safe from secret plots of corrupt and evil gangs.
Hide me from the secret counsel of evil-doers, from the tumultuous crowd of the workers of iniquity,
A Hymn, O God, becometh thee in Sion: and a vow shall be paid to thee in Jerusalem.
Protect me from the secret plans of the wicked. Hide me from that gang of evil people.
When evil men think of ways to hurt me, hide me in a safe place. Those people work together as a group to do wicked things.
Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked, from the noisy mob of evildoers.
Hide me from the secret plots of the wicked, from the throng of evildoers,
Hide me from the secret plots of the wicked, from the throng of evildoers,
Hide me from ·those who plan wicked things [L the secret plans/conspiracy of the wicked], from that ·gang [mob; restless group] who does evil [Prov. 1:8–19].
Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked, and from the rage of the works of iniquity.
Hide me from the secret plots of criminals, from the mob of troublemakers.
Protect me from the plots of the wicked, from mobs of evil people.
Hide me from the scheming of wicked people, from the mob of evildoers,
Hide me from those wicked people, from that gang who does evil.
Hide me from the secret plots of the wicked, from the mob of those who practice evil,
Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked, from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:

Hide me from the secret counsel of evildoers, From the tumult of the workers of iniquity,
Hide me from the secret plots of evildoers, from the unrest of those who do iniquity,
Lord, listen to my complaint: Oh, preserve my life from the conspiracy of these wicked men, these gangs of criminals.
Don’t let them find me— the conspirators out to get me, Using their tongues as weapons, flinging poison words, poison-tipped arrow-words. They shoot from ambush, shoot without warning, not caring who they hit. They keep fit doing calisthenics of evil purpose, They keep lists of the traps they’ve secretly set. They say to each other, “No one can catch us, no one can detect our perfect crime.” The Detective detects the mystery in the dark of the cellar heart.
Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked, from the throng of the workers of iniquity;
Hide me from the secret plots of criminals, from the mob of troublemakers.
O God, hear my anguished voice; from a dreadful foe protect my life.
Hide me from the secret discussion of evildoers, From the restlessness of the workers of injustice,
Hide me from the secret counsel of evildoers, From the tumult of those who do iniquity,
Listen, O God, to my cry of lament; from the dreaded enemy preserve my life.
Hide me from those who plan wicked things, from that gang who does evil.
Hide me from the plots of evil men, from the crowd of evildoers.
Hide me from evil people who talk about how to harm me. Hide me from those people who are planning to do evil.
Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked, from the plots of evildoers.
Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked, from the plots of evildoers.
Hide me from the secret plots of the wicked, From the rebellion of the workers of iniquity,
Hide me from the secret plans of the sinful and from the noise of those who do bad things.
Hide me from the plots of this evil mob, from this gang of wrongdoers.

Hide me from the sinful circle that conspires against me, from the band of rebels out to make trouble,
Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked, from the noisy crowd of the ones doing evil;
Thou hast defended me from the covent of evil-doers; from the multitude of them that work wickedness. (Thou hast protected me from the plots of the evil-doers; yea, from the many who do evil.)
