Man, though he is in honor but understandeth not, is like the beasts that perish.
Man that is in honor, and understandeth not, Is like the beasts that perish.
A man [who is held] in honor, Yet who lacks [spiritual] understanding and a teachable heart, is like the beasts that perish.
A man who is held in honor and understands not is like the beasts that perish.
Man that is in honour, and understandeth not, is like the beasts that perish.
Mankind, with his assets but without understanding, is like the animals that perish.

Wealthy people? They just don’t understand; they’re just like the animals that pass away.
but he will join his ancestors’ generations and never again see light.
Our human glory disappears, and, like animals, we die.
Man that is in honour, and understandeth not, is like the beasts that perish.
Sitting thou didst speak against thy brother, and didst lay a scandal against thy mother's son:
Wealthy people don’t seem to understand that they will die like the animals.
Rich people do not always understand the truth. They will die, just like the animals.
A man who has riches but does not understand is like the animals that perish.
Man in his pomp yet without understanding is like the beasts that perish.

Mortals, with what they treasure, still don’t have understanding. They are like animals that die.
Our greatness cannot keep us from death; we will still die like the animals.
A man with valuable possessions but without understanding is like the animals that perish.
Rich people with no understanding are just like animals that die.
Humanity, despite its conceit, does not understand that it will perish, just like the animals.
Man that is in honour that does not understand is like the beasts that are cut off.

Humankind in its pomp, but does not understand, is like the beasts that perish.
For man with all his pomp must die like any animal.
We aren’t immortal. We don’t last long. Like our dogs, we age and weaken. And die.

People who boast of their wealth don’t understand; they will die, just like animals.

Anyone who is rich or important without understanding is just like the animals that perish and decay.

A man/Man, when he was in honour, understood not; he is comparisoned to unwise beasts, and is made like to those. (Anyone, even when he hath been given great honour, liveth not forever; he is comparable to the unthinking beasts, and soon is made like them.)
