For I will not trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me;

For I will not trust in and lean on my bow, neither shall my sword save me.
For I will not trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me.
For I do not trust in my bow, and my sword does not bring me victory.

No, I won’t trust in my bow; my sword won’t save me
Through you we pushed away our foes, through your name we trampled down our assailants.
I don't depend on my arrows or my sword to save me.
For I will not put confidence in my bow, neither shall my sword save me.
Thy arrows are sharp: under thee shall people fall, into the hearts of the king's enemies.
I don’t put my trust in my bow. My sword cannot save me.
I do not trust in my bow and arrows. It is not my sword that has helped me to win the fight.
For I do not trust in my bow, and my sword does not save me.
For not in my bow do I trust, nor can my sword save me.
For not in my bow do I trust, nor can my sword save me.
I don’t trust my bow to help me, and my sword can’t ·save me [give me victory].

I do not trust my weapons. They could never save me.
You’re my King, O God— command victories for Jacob! With your help we’ll wipe out our enemies, in your name we’ll stomp them to dust. I don’t trust in weapons; my sword won’t save me— But it’s you, you who saved us from the enemy; you made those who hate us lose face. All day we parade God’s praise— we thank you by name over and over.

I don’t trust in my weapons or in my strength to win me victory.
