The Lord lifteth up the meek; He casteth the wicked down to the ground.
Jehovah upholdeth the meek: He bringeth the wicked down to the ground.
The Lord lifts up the humble; He casts the wicked down to the ground.
The Lord lifts up the humble and downtrodden; He casts the wicked down to the ground.
The Lord lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground.
The Lord helps the oppressed but brings the wicked to the ground.
The Lord helps the oppressed but brings the wicked to the ground.
The Lord helps the poor, but throws the wicked down on the dirt!
Adonai sustains the humble but brings the wicked down to the ground.
The Lord helps the oppressed, but he smears the wicked in the dirt.
Jehovah lifteth up the meek; he abaseth the wicked to the earth.
The Lord supports the humble, but he shames the wicked.
The Lord gives help to poor people, but he knocks down wicked people to the ground.
The one who sustains the humble is the Lord. He pushes the wicked down to the ground.
The Lord lifts up the humble; he casts the wicked to the ground.
The Lord lifts up the humble; he casts the wicked to the ground.
The Lord ·defends [supports] the ·humble [needy], but he throws the wicked to the ground.
The Lord relieveth the meek, and abaseth the wicked to the ground.
The Lord gives relief to those who are oppressed. He brings wicked people down to the ground.
He raises the humble, but crushes the wicked to the ground.
The Lord helps the afflicted but brings the wicked to the ground.
The Lord defends those who are not proud. But he throws the wicked to the ground.

The Lord supports the humble, but brings the wicked into the dust.
God’s the one who rebuilds Jerusalem, who regathers Israel’s scattered exiles. He heals the heartbroken and bandages their wounds. He counts the stars and assigns each a name. Our Lord is great, with limitless strength; we’ll never comprehend what he knows and does. God puts the fallen on their feet again and pushes the wicked into the ditch.
