I will extol thee, O God my king: and I will bless thy name for ever; yea, for ever and ever.
A song of David. Praise the Lord! He is my Rock. He prepares me for war. He trains me for battle.
This is a song that David wrote. Lord, I praise you! You are my strong Rock! You teach me how to fight well. You show me how to use my weapons.
Blessed be the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for battle, my fingers for war.

He praiseth the Lord with great affection and humility for his kingdom restored, and for his victories obtained. 5 Demanding help, and the destruction of the wicked, 9 Promising to acknowledge the same with songs of praises, 15 And declareth wherein the felicity of any people consisteth. By David. Thank the Lord, my rock, who trained my hands to fight and my fingers to do battle,
Praise the Lord, my protector! He trains me for battle and prepares me for war.
Davidic. May the Lord, my rock, be praised, who trains my hands for battle and my fingers for warfare.
