Yea, they despised the pleasant land; they believed not His word,
Yea, they despised the pleasant land, They believed not his word,
Then they despised the pleasant land [of Canaan]; They did not believe in His word nor rely on it,
Then they spurned and despised the pleasant and desirable land [Canaan]; they believed not His word [neither trusting in, relying on, nor holding to it];
Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word:
They despised the pleasant land and did not believe his promise.
They despised the pleasant land and did not believe his promise.
But then they rejected the land that was so desirable. They didn’t trust God’s promise.
Next, they rejected the beautiful land, they didn’t trust his promise;
They would not trust you, Lord, and they did not like the promised land.
And they despised the pleasant land; they believed not his word,
These have seen the works of the Lord, and his wonders in the deep.
But then they refused to go into the wonderful land of Canaan. They did not believe that God would help them defeat the people there.
Later, they did not believe God's promise to take them safely into the beautiful land of Canaan.
Then they refused the pleasant land. They did not believe his word.
Then they despised the pleasant land, having no faith in his promise.
Then they despised the pleasant land, having no faith in his promise.
Then they refused to go into the ·beautiful land of Canaan [desired/coveted land]; they did not ·believe what God promised [L trust his word; Num. 14:1–12].
Also they contemned that pleasant land, and believed not his word,
They refused ⌞to enter⌟ the pleasant land. They did not believe what he said.
Then they rejected the pleasant land, because they did not believe God's promise.
They despised the pleasant land and did not believe His promise.
Then they refused to go into the beautiful land of Canaan. They did not believe what God promised.
They rejected the desirable land, and they didn’t trust his promise.
And they despised the pleasant land; they did not believe his word:
Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word:
Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word:
Then they despised the pleasant land; They did not believe in His word,
Then they refused the desirable land; they did not believe his word,
They refused to enter the Promised Land, for they wouldn’t believe his solemn oath to care for them.
Fed up, God decided to get rid of them— and except for Moses, his chosen, he would have. But Moses stood in the gap and deflected God’s anger, prevented it from destroying them utterly. They went on to reject the Blessed Land, didn’t believe a word of what God promised. They found fault with the life they had and turned a deaf ear to God’s voice. Exasperated, God swore that he’d lay them low in the desert, Scattering their children here and there, strewing them all over the earth.
Then they despised the pleasant land; they did not believe His promise,
They refused to enter the pleasant land. They did not believe what he said.
Next they despised the beautiful land; they did not believe the promise.
Then they rejected the pleasant land; They did not believe His word,
Then they despised the pleasant land; They did not believe in His word,
Then they derided the land of delights, for they had no faith in his word.
Then they refused to go into the beautiful land of Canaan; they did not believe what God promised.
They rejected the fruitful land; they did not believe his promise.
Later on, they refused to enter the pleasant land of Canaan. They didn’t believe God’s promise.
Then they despised the pleasant land; they did not believe his promise.
Then they despised the pleasant land; they did not believe his promise.
Then they despised the pleasant land; They did not believe His word,
Then they hated the good land. They did not believe in His Word.
The people refused to enter the pleasant land, for they wouldn’t believe his promise to care for them.
Then they despised the pleasant land, having no faith in his promise.
Then they despised the pleasant land, having no faith in his promise.
Then they despised the pleasant land, having no faith in his promise.
Then they despised the pleasant land, having no faith in his promise.
Then they despised the eretz chemdah (desirable land); they believed not His Devar;
Also, they despised that pleasant land and did not believe His word,
Then they despised the pleasant land, having no faith in his promise.
Then they despised the pleasant land, having no faith in his promise.
Then they scorned the pleasing land— they did not trust in His word.
At the edge of the beautiful land God had promised them, they didn’t trust His words, so they refused to enter.
Yes, they despised the pleasant land. They didn’t believe his word,
And they had the desirable land for nought, (for) they believed not to his word, (And they considered the desirable land as worth nothing, for they did not believe his promise,)
And they kick against the desirable land, They have not given credence to His word.
