Psalm 102:14
Print
For Thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favor the dust thereof.
For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, And have pity upon her dust.
For Your servants find [melancholy] pleasure in the stones [of her ruins] And feel pity for her dust.
For Your servants take [melancholy] pleasure in the stones [of her ruins] and show pity for her dust.
For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof.
For your servants take delight in its stones and favor its dust.
Your servants cherish Zion’s stones; they show mercy even to her dirt.
You will arise and take pity on Tziyon, for the time has come to have mercy on her; the time determined has come.
We, your servants, love each stone in the city, and we are sad to see them lying in the dirt.
For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour her dust.
For he knoweth our frame. He remembereth that we are dust:
Your servants love her stones. They love even the dust of that city!
Her buildings have become broken stones and dust. But your servants still love your city. We are sad to see that it is broken down.
Yes, your servants will show favor to her stones, and they will have compassion on her dust.
For your servants hold her stones dear and have pity on her dust.
For your servants hold her stones dear and have pity on her dust.
Your servants ·love even [are pleased/delighted with] her stones; they even ·care about [L have pity/compassion for] her dust.
For thy servants delight in the stones thereof, and have pity on the dust thereof.
Your servants value Zion’s stones, and they pity its rubble.
Your servants love her, even though she is destroyed; they have pity on her, even though she is in ruins.
For Your servants take delight in its stones and favor its dust.
Your servants love even her stones. They even care about her dust.
Your servants take pleasure in its stones and delight in its debris.
For thy slaves love her stones and have compassion on the dust thereof.
For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof.
For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof.
For Your slaves find pleasure in its stones And show grace to its dust—
Your servants take pleasure in her stones, and show favor to its dust.
For your people love every stone in her walls and feel sympathy for every grain of dust in her streets.
Yet you, God, are sovereign still, always and ever sovereign. You’ll get up from your throne and help Zion— it’s time for compassionate help. Oh, how your servants love this city’s rubble and weep with compassion over its dust! The godless nations will sit up and take notice —see your glory, worship your name— When God rebuilds Zion, when he shows up in all his glory, When he attends to the prayer of the wretched. He won’t dismiss their prayer.
For Your servants take pleasure in her stones, and have pity on her dust.
Your servants value Zion’s stones, and they pity its rubble.
You will again show mercy to Zion; now is the time for pity; the appointed time has come.
Surely Your servants take pleasure in her stones, And feel pity for her dust.
Surely Your servants find pleasure in her stones And feel pity for her dust.
You will arise and show mercy to Zion, for it is time for you to have pity on her; the appointed time has come.
Your servants love even her stones; they even care about her dust.
Indeed, your servants take delight in her stones, and feel compassion for the dust of her ruins.
The stones of your destroyed city are priceless to us. Even its dust brings deep concern to us.
For her stones are dear to your servants; her very dust moves them to pity.
For her stones are dear to your servants; her very dust moves them to pity.
For Your servants take pleasure in her stones, And show favor to her dust.
For Your servants respect her stones and show pity for her dust.
For your people love every stone in her walls and cherish even the dust in her streets.
For your servants hold its stones dear, and have pity on its dust.
For your servants hold its stones dear, and have pity on its dust.
For your servants hold its stones dear, and have pity on its dust.
For your servants hold its stones dear and have pity on its dust.
For Thy avadim cherish her avanim (stones), and pity her aphar.
For thy servants hold her stones dear, and have pity on her dust.
For thy servants hold her stones dear, and have pity on her dust.
You will arise and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show favor to her, for the appointed time has come,
Your faithful servants take pleasure in her every stone; they even delight in the dust of her streets.
For your servants take pleasure in her stones, and have pity on her dust.
For the stones thereof pleased thy servants; and they shall have mercy on the land thereof. (For its stones pleased thy servants; and they even love its dust.)
For Thy servants have been pleased with her stones, And her dust they favour.
