As the door turneth upon his hinges, so doth the slothful upon his bed.

As the door turns on its hinges, So does the lazy person on his bed [never getting out of it].

Lazy people turn over in bed. They get no farther than a door swinging on its hinges.
A door turns on its hinges, and a slacker, on his bed.
The lazy person is like a door that turns back and forth on its hinges. He stays in bed and turns over and over.
The door turns on its hinges— as does the lazy person on his bed.

The door turns on its hinge, and a lazy person on his bed.
He sticks to his bed like a door to its hinges!
Just as a door turns on its hinges, so a lazybones turns back over in bed.
