He that diligently seeketh good procureth favor; but he that seeketh mischief, it shall come unto him.
He that diligently seeketh good seeketh favor; But he that searcheth after evil, it shall come unto him.
He who diligently seeks good seeks favor and grace, But he who seeks evil, evil will come to him.
He who diligently seeks good seeks [God’s] favor, but he who searches after evil, it shall come upon him.

The one who searches for what is good seeks favor, but if someone looks for trouble, it will come to him.

Try hard to do right, and you will win friends; go looking for trouble, and you will find it.

Well doth he rise early who seeketh good things; but he that seeketh after evil things shall be oppressed by them.
People are pleased with those who try to do good. Those who look for trouble will find it.
If you try to do good things, people will respect you. But if you want evil things to happen, they will happen to you!
Whoever searches for good seeks favor, but whoever pursues evil will find it.
Whoever diligently seeks good seeks favor, but evil comes to him who searches for it.

Whoever looks for good will find ·kindness [favor], but whoever looks for evil will find trouble.
