And our adversaries said, “They shall not know, neither see, until we come in the midst among them and slay them and cause the work to cease.”

Our enemies said, “They will not know or see us until we are among them, kill them and put a stop to the work.”

And our enemies said, “They won’t realize it until we’re among them and can kill them and stop the work.”
And our enemies said, ‘They won’t realise it until we’re among them and can kill them and stop the work.’
Meanwhile, our enemies were saying: “Before they know or see anything, we can be in their midst and start to kill them. We’ll stop the work!”
as they continued building the wall. Those who carried loads held their loads with one hand and carried a weapon in the other.
Our enemies were saying, “Before those Jews know what has happened, we will sneak up and kill them and put an end to their work.”
And our adversaries said, They shall not know, neither see, till we come into the midst of them and kill them, and put an end to the work.
And our enemies said: Let them not know, nor understand, till we come in the midst of them, and kill them, and cause the work to cease.
And our enemies are saying, ‘Before the Jews know it or see us, we will be right there among them. We will kill them and that will stop the work.’”
At the same time, our enemies were boasting, ‘Before the Jews even see us, we will attack them. We will kill them before they know what is happening. That will be the end of their work on the wall!’
Then our adversaries said, “They will not know about it or realize what we are doing, until we come among them and kill them and bring the work to a halt.”
And our enemies said, “They will not know or see till we come among them and kill them and stop the work.”
And our enemies said, “They will not know or see till we come among them and kill them and stop the work.”
And our enemies said, “·The Jews [L They] won’t know or see anything until we come among them and kill them and stop the work.”
Also our adversaries had said, They shall not know, neither see, till we come into the midst of them, and slay them, and cause the work to cease.
Our enemies said, “Before they know what is happening or see a thing, we will be right in the middle of them. We’ll kill them and bring the work to an end.”
Our enemies thought we would not see them or know what was happening until they were already upon us, killing us and putting an end to our work.
And our enemies said, “They won’t know or see anything until we’re among them and can kill them and stop the work.”
And our enemies said, “The Jews won’t know it or see us. But we will come among them and kill them. We will stop the work.”
Our enemies said, “Before they notice or see us, we’ll penetrate their midst, kill them, and stop the work!”
And our adversaries said, They shall not know or see until we come in the midst among them and slay them and cause the work to cease.
And our adversaries said, They shall not know, neither see, till we come in the midst among them, and slay them, and cause the work to cease.

Our adversaries said, “They will not know or see until we come among them, kill them, and put a stop to the work.”

Meanwhile, our enemies were planning to swoop down upon us and kill us, thus ending our work.
And all this time our enemies were saying, “They won’t know what hit them. Before they know it we’ll be at their throats, killing them right and left. That will put a stop to the work!” The Jews who were their neighbors kept reporting, “They have us surrounded; they’re going to attack!” If we heard it once, we heard it ten times.
Our adversaries said, “They will neither know nor see until we have entered in among them and slain them. Indeed, we will stop the work!”
Our enemies said, “Before they know what is happening or see a thing, we will be right in the middle of them. We’ll kill them and bring the work to an end.”
as they rebuilt the wall. The load carriers, too, were armed; each worked with one hand and held a weapon with the other.
And our enemies said, “They will not know or see until we come among them, kill them, and put a stop to the work.”

Our adversaries also boasted, “Before they are aware or anticipate anything, we will come in among them and kill them, and we will bring this work to a halt!”
And our enemies said, “We will be right there among them. We’ll kill them. We’ll put an end to their work. We’ll do it before they even know it or see us.”
Also our enemies said, “Before they know it or see us, we will be right there among them and will kill them and put an end to the work.”

And our adversaries said, “They will neither know nor see anything, till we come into their midst and kill them and cause the work to cease.”
Those who hated us said, “They will not know it or see us until we are among them, kill them, and stop the work.”
Meanwhile, our enemies were saying, “Before they know what’s happening, we will swoop down on them and kill them and end their work.”
And our enemies said, ‘They will not know or see anything before we come upon them and kill them and stop the work.’

And our adversaries said, They shall have no da’as, neither see, till we come in the midst among them, and slay them, and cause the melachah (work) to cease.
Also, our adversaries had said, “They shall neither know nor see until we come into the midst of them, and kill them, and cause the work to cease.”
And our enemies said, “They will not know or see till we come into the midst of them and kill them and stop the work.”
And our enemies said, “They will not know or see till we come into the midst of them and kill them and stop the work.”
Those building the wall and those bearing heavy burdens kept one hand on the work and the other holding a weapon.
And our enemies spread the word. Enemies: We will sneak in among them. Before they know what is happening, they will be dead. The work will end for sure.
Our adversaries said, “They will not know or see, until we come in among them and kill them, and cause the work to cease.”
And our enemies said, Know they not, and know they not, till we come into the middle of them, and slay them, and make the work to cease. (And our enemies said, Let them know nothing, until we suddenly come into their midst, and kill them all, and stop the work.)
And our adversaries say, `They do not know, nor see, till that we come in to their midst, and have slain them, and caused the work to cease.'
