And I said: “Hear, I pray you, O heads of Jacob, and ye princes of the house of Israel: Is it not for you to know judgment”
And I said, Hear, I pray you, ye heads of Jacob, and rulers of the house of Israel: is it not for you to know justice?
And I said, “Hear now, heads of Jacob And rulers of the house of Israel. Is it not for you to know and administer justice?
And I [Micah] said, Hear, I pray you, you heads of Jacob and rulers of the house of Israel! Is it not for you to know justice?—
And I said, Hear, I pray you, O heads of Jacob, and ye princes of the house of Israel; Is it not for you to know judgment?
Then I said, “Now listen, leaders of Jacob, you rulers of the house of Israel. Aren’t you supposed to know what is just?
Then I said, ‘Now listen, leaders of Jacob, you rulers of the house of Israel. Aren’t you supposed to know what is just?
But I said: Hear, leaders of Jacob, rulers of the house of Israel! Isn’t it your job to know justice?—
“I said, ‘Please listen, leaders of Ya‘akov, rulers of the house of Isra’el: Shouldn’t you know what justice is?
Listen to me, you rulers of Israel! You know right from wrong,
And I said, Hear, I pray you, ye heads of Jacob, and princes of the house of Israel: Is it not for you to know judgment?
And I said: Hear, O ye princes of Jacob, and ye chiefs of the house of Israel: Is it not your part to know judgment,
Then I said, “Listen, leaders of Jacob and officers of the nation of Israel! You should know what justice is.
Then I spoke to the leaders: Listen to me, I said. You are the leaders of Jacob's people, you are the rulers of Israel. You ought to know what is right or wrong.
I said: Listen, you rulers of Jacob, you leaders of the house of Israel. Shouldn’t you recognize justice?
And I said: Hear, you heads of Jacob and rulers of the house of Israel! Is it not for you to know justice?—
And I said: Hear, you heads of Jacob and rulers of the house of Israel! Is it not for you to know justice?—
Then I said, “Listen, leaders of ·the people of Jacob [L Jacob]; listen, you rulers of the ·nation [L house] of Israel. ·You should [L Should you not…?] know ·how to decide cases fairly [justice],
1 Against the tyranny of princes and false prophets. And I said, Hear, I pray you, O heads of Jacob, and ye princes of the house of Israel: should not ye know judgment?
Then I said: Listen, you leaders of Jacob, you rulers of the nation of Israel. You should know justice.
Listen, you rulers of Israel! You are supposed to be concerned about justice,
Then I said, “Now listen, leaders of Jacob, you rulers of the house of Israel. Aren’t you supposed to know what is just?
Then I said, “Listen, leaders of the people of Jacob. Listen, you rulers of the nation of Israel. You should know how to decide cases fairly.
“He will say, ‘Listen, you leaders of Jacob, you officials of the house of Israel! You should know justice, should you not?—
¶ And I said, Hear, I pray you, O princes of Jacob, and ye heads of the house of Israel. Did it not pertain to you to know that which is right?
And I said, Hear, I pray you, O heads of Jacob, and ye princes of the house of Israel; Is it not for you to know judgment?
And I said, Hear, I pray you, O heads of Jacob, and ye princes of the house of Israel; Is it not for you to know judgment?
And I said, “Hear now, heads of Jacob And rulers of the house of Israel. Is it not for you to know justice?
And I said, “Listen, O heads of Jacob and leaders of the house of Israel! Is it not for you to know justice?
Listen, you leaders of Israel—you are supposed to know right from wrong,
Then I said: “Listen, leaders of Jacob, leaders of Israel: Don’t you know anything of justice? Haters of good, lovers of evil: Isn’t justice in your job description? But you skin my people alive. You rip the meat off their bones. You break up the bones, chop the meat, and throw it in a pot for cannibal stew.”
Then I said: Listen now, heads of Jacob, and rulers of the house of Israel. Should you not know justice?
Then I said: Listen, you leaders of Jacob, you rulers of the nation of Israel. You should know justice.
And I said: Hear, you leaders of Jacob, rulers of the house of Israel! Is it not your duty to know what is right,
And I said, “Hear now, you leaders of Jacob And rulers of the house of Israel: Is it not for you to know justice?
And I said, “Hear now, heads of Jacob And rulers of the house of Israel. Is it not for you to know justice?
Then I said: Listen, you leaders of the house of Jacob, you rulers of the house of Israel. Should you not be responsible to know what is right?
Then I said, “Listen, leaders of the people of Jacob; listen, you rulers of the nation of Israel. You should know how to decide cases fairly,
I said, “Listen, you leaders of Jacob, you rulers of the nation of Israel! You ought to know what is just,
Then I said, “Listen, you leaders of Jacob’s people! Pay attention, you rulers of Israel! You should want to judge others fairly.
Then I said, “Listen, you leaders of Jacob, you rulers of Israel. Should you not embrace justice,
Then I said, ‘Listen, you leaders of Jacob, you rulers of Israel. Should you not embrace justice,
And I said: “Hear now, O heads of Jacob, And you rulers of the house of Israel: Is it not for you to know justice?
And I said, “Hear now, leaders of Jacob and rulers of the people of Israel! Should you not know what is fair?
I said, “Listen, you leaders of Israel! You are supposed to know right from wrong,
And I said: Listen, you heads of Jacob and rulers of the house of Israel! Should you not know justice?—
And I said: Listen, you heads of Jacob and rulers of the house of Israel! Should you not know justice?—
And I said: Listen, you heads of Jacob and rulers of the house of Israel! Should you not know justice?—
And I said: Listen, you heads of Jacob and rulers of the house of Israel! Should you not know justice?—
And I said, Hear, O Rashei Ya’akov, and ye Ketzinim of Bais Yisroel. Is it not for you to have da’as of Mishpat (Justice)?
“And I said, ‘Hear now, O heads of Jacob, and you princes of the House of Israel. Should not you know judgment?’
And I said: Hear, you heads of Jacob and rulers of the house of Israel! Is it not for you to know justice?—
And I said: Hear, you heads of Jacob and rulers of the house of Israel! Is it not for you to know justice?—
Then I said: “Hear, leaders of Jacob, rulers of the house of Israel. Is it not for you to know justice?
Listen to what I say, you leaders of Jacob who judge, you rulers of the people of Israel who sit in the city gates. Shouldn’t you know what justice is?
I said, “Please listen, you heads of Jacob, and rulers of the house of Israel: Isn’t it for you to know justice?
And I said, Ye princes of Jacob, and dukes of the house of Israel, hear. Whether it is not yours for to know doom, (And I said, Ye leaders of Jacob, and rulers of the house of Israel, listen. Is it not for you to know what is right, or to do what is just,)
And I say, `Hear, I pray you, heads of Jacob, And ye judges of the house of Israel, Is it not for you to know the judgment?
