Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
For narrow is the gate, and straitened the way, that leadeth unto life, and few are they that find it.
But small is the gate and narrow and difficult to travel is the path that leads the way to [everlasting] life, and there are few who find it.
But the gate is narrow (contracted by pressure) and the way is straitened and compressed that leads away to life, and few are those who find it.
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

It is difficult to go through the small gate. And it is difficult to walk on the narrow road. But when you do go that way, you will get true life. Not many people find that narrow gate.’

Now then that narrow door leads to a narrow road that in turn leads to life. It is hard to find that road. Not many people manage it.
