Blessed are ye when men shall revile you and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely for My sake.
Blessed are ye when men shall reproach you, and persecute you, and say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
“Blessed [morally courageous and spiritually alive with life-joy in God’s goodness] are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil things against you because of [your association with] Me.
Blessed (happy, to be envied, and spiritually prosperous—with life-joy and satisfaction in God’s favor and salvation, regardless of your outward conditions) are you when people revile you and persecute you and say all kinds of evil things against you falsely on My account.
Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
“You are blessed when they insult you and persecute you and falsely say every kind of evil against you because of me.
“Happy are you when people insult you and harass you and speak all kinds of bad and false things about you, all because of me.
“How blessed you are when people insult you and persecute you and tell all kinds of vicious lies about you because you follow me!
God will bless you when people insult you, mistreat you, and tell all kinds of evil lies about you because of me.
Blessed are ye when they may reproach and persecute you, and say every wicked thing against you, lying, for my sake.
You are blessed ones whenever they reproach you and persecute you and speak every [kind of] evil against you while lying, because-of Me.
Blessed are ye when they shall revile you, and persecute you, and speak all that is evil against you, untruly, for my sake:
“People will insult you and hurt you. They will lie and say all kinds of evil things about you because you follow me. But when they do that, know that great blessings belong to you.
Yes, happy are you when people say bad things against you because you believe in me. Or they may hurt you. Or they may say things about you that are not true.
“Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.
“Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.
“Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.
“·You are blessed [T Blessed are you; or God will bless you] when people ·insult [mock; abuse; revile] you and ·hurt [persecute] you. They will lie and say all kinds of evil things ·about [against] you because ·you follow [L of] me.
Blessed shall ye be when men revile you, and persecute you , and say all manner of evil against you for my sake, falsely.
“Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you, lie, and say all kinds of evil things about you because of me.
“Happy are you when people insult you and persecute you and tell all kinds of evil lies against you because you are my followers.
“You are blessed when they insult and persecute you and falsely say every kind of evil against you because of Me.
“People will say bad things about you and hurt you. They will lie and say all kinds of evil things about you because you follow me. But when they do these things to you, you are happy.
“How blessed are you whenever people insult you, persecute you, and say all sorts of evil things against you falsely because of me!
Then he began his teaching by saying to them, “How happy are the humble-minded, for the kingdom of Heaven is theirs! “How happy are those who know what sorrow means for they will be given courage and comfort! “Happy are those who claim nothing, for the whole earth will belong to them! “Happy are those who are hungry and thirsty for goodness, for they will be fully satisfied! “Happy are the merciful, for they will have mercy shown to them! “Happy are the utterly sincere, for they will see God! “Happy are those who make peace, for they will be sons of God! “Happy are those who have suffered persecution for the cause of goodness, for the kingdom of Heaven is theirs! “And what happiness will be yours when people blame you and ill-treat you and say all kinds of slanderous things against you for my sake! Be glad then, yes, be tremendously glad—for your reward in Heaven is magnificent. They persecuted the prophets before your time in exactly the same way.

Blessed are you when they insult you and persecute you and say all kinds of evil things against you, lying on account of me.
“When you are reviled and persecuted and lied about because you are my followers—wonderful!
“Not only that—count yourselves blessed every time people put you down or throw you out or speak lies about you to discredit me. What it means is that the truth is too close for comfort and they are uncomfortable. You can be glad when that happens—give a cheer, even!—for though they don’t like it, I do! And all heaven applauds. And know that you are in good company. My prophets and witnesses have always gotten into this kind of trouble.
“Blessed are you when men revile you, and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.
Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and say all kinds of evil against you falsely on account of me.
“Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you, lie, and say all kinds of evil things about you because of me.
Blessed are you when they insult you and persecute you and utter every kind of evil against you [falsely] because of me.
“Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me.
“Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me.
“Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you and utter all kinds of calumnies against you for my sake.
“People will insult you and hurt you. They will lie and say all kinds of evil things about you because you follow me. But when they do, you will be blessed.
“Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you and say all kinds of evil things about you falsely on account of me.
“Blessed are you when people make fun of you and hurt you because of me. You are also blessed when they tell all kinds of evil lies about you because of me.
“Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.
‘Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.
Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.
You are happy when people act and talk in a bad way to you and make it very hard for you and tell bad things and lies about you because you trust in Me.
“God blesses you when people mock you and persecute you and lie about you and say all sorts of evil things against you because you are my followers.
Blessed are you when men revile you, and persecute you, and falsely say all manner of evil things against you for my sake.
‘Blessed are you when people revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.
‘Blessed are you when people revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.

“Blessings on you, when people slander you and persecute you, and say all kinds of wicked things about you falsely because of me!
Ashrey are you when they reproach you and persecute you and speak all kinds of lashon horah against you, speaking sheker (falsehood, lies) because of me [Moshiach].
“Blessed shall you be when others revile you, and people utter all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.
“Blessed are you when men revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.
“Blessed are you when men revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.
“Blessed are you when people revile you and persecute you and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, on account of Me.
And blessed are you, blessed are all of you, when people persecute you or denigrate you or despise you or tell lies about you on My account.
“Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
`God makes you happy when people say wrong things about you, when they trouble you, and when they say all kinds of lies about you. God makes you happy when it is for my sake.
Blessed be ye, when men shall curse you, and shall pursue you [and pursue you], and shall say all evil against you lying, for me.
