saying, “Say ye, ‘His disciples came by night and stole him away while we slept.’

and said, “You say this, ‘His disciples came at night and stole Him while we were sleeping.’
And said, Tell people, His disciples came at night and stole Him away while we were sleeping.

and told them, “Say this, ‘His disciples came during the night and stole him while we were sleeping.’
and told them, ‘Say this, “His disciples came during the night and stole him while we were sleeping.”
They told them, “Say that Jesus’ disciples came at night and stole his body while you were sleeping.
and said to them, “Tell people, ‘His talmidim came during the night and stole his body while we were sleeping.’
They said to the soldiers, “Tell everyone that Jesus' disciples came during the night and stole his body while you were asleep.
saying, Say that his disciples coming by night stole him [while] we [were] sleeping.
saying, “Say that ‘His disciples, having come by night, stole Him while we were sleeping’.
Saying: Say you, His disciples came by night, and stole him away when we were asleep.
and said to them, “Tell the people that Jesus’ followers came during the night and stole the body while you were sleeping.
They said to the soldiers, ‘When people ask you, you must say this: “Jesus' disciples came to the rock in the night and they took his body away. We were asleep when they did this.”
and said, “You are to say, ‘His disciples came at night and stole him away while we were sleeping.’
and said, “Tell people, ‘His disciples came by night and stole him away while we were asleep.’
and said, “Tell people, ‘His disciples came by night and stole him away while we were asleep.’
and said to them, “Tell the people that Jesus’ ·followers [disciples] came during the night and stole ·the body [him away] while you were asleep.

and told them to say that Jesus’ disciples had come at night and had stolen his body while they were sleeping.
and said, “You are to say that his disciples came during the night and stole his body while you were asleep.
and told them, “Say this, ‘His disciples came during the night and stole Him while we were sleeping.’
They said to the soldiers, “Tell the people that Jesus’ followers came during the night and stole the body while you were asleep.
They said, “Say that Jesus’ disciples came at night and stole him while you were sleeping.
And while they were on their way, some of the sentries went into the city and reported to the chief priests everything that had happened. They got together with the elders, and after consultation gave the soldiers a considerable sum of money and told them, “Your story must be that his disciples came after dark, and stole him away while you were asleep. If by any chance this reaches the governor’s ears, we will put it right with him and see that you do not suffer for it.” So they took the money and obeyed their instructions. The story was spread and is current among the Jews to this day.

A meeting of all the Jewish leaders was called, and it was decided to bribe the police to say they had all been asleep when Jesus’ disciples came during the night and stole his body.
Meanwhile, the guards had scattered, but a few of them went into the city and told the high priests everything that had happened. They called a meeting of the religious leaders and came up with a plan: They took a large sum of money and gave it to the soldiers, bribing them to say, “His disciples came in the night and stole the body while we were sleeping.” They assured them, “If the governor hears about your sleeping on duty, we will make sure you don’t get blamed.” The soldiers took the bribe and did as they were told. That story, cooked up in the Jewish High Council, is still going around. * * *

and told them to say that Yeshua’s disciples had come at night and had stolen his body while they were sleeping.
telling them, “You are to say, ‘His disciples came by night and stole him while we were asleep.’
and said, “You are to say, ‘His disciples came at night and stole Him while we were asleep.’
and said, “You are to say, ‘His disciples came by night and stole Him away while we were asleep.’
and gave them this order: “Say, ‘His disciples came by night and stole the body while we were asleep.’
and said to them, “Tell the people that Jesus’ followers came during the night and stole the body while you were asleep.
telling them, “You are to say, ‘His disciples came at night and stole his body while we were asleep.’
They told the soldiers, “We want you to say, ‘His disciples came during the night. They stole his body while we were sleeping.’
telling them, “You are to say, ‘His disciples came during the night and stole him away while we were asleep.’
telling them, ‘You are to say, “His disciples came during the night and stole him away while we were asleep.”
saying, “Tell them, ‘His disciples came at night and stole Him away while we slept.’
They said, “Tell the people, ‘His followers came at night and took His body while we were sleeping.’
They told the soldiers, “You must say, ‘Jesus’ disciples came during the night while we were sleeping, and they stole his body.’
saying, Say that his disciples came by night and stole him away while you slept.
telling them, ‘You must say, “His disciples came by night and stole him away while we were asleep.”
telling them, ‘You must say, “His disciples came by night and stole him away while we were asleep.”
telling them, “You must say, ‘His disciples came by night and stole him away while we were asleep.’
telling them, “You must say, ‘His disciples came by night and stole him away while we were asleep.’
“This,” they told them, “is what you are to say: ‘His disciples came in the night, while we were asleep, and stole him away.’
And said, You are to say, His talmidim came by night and stole him away while we were asleep.
saying, “Say, ‘His disciples came by night and stole Him away while we slept.’
and said, “Tell people, ‘His disciples came by night and stole him away while we were asleep.’
and said, “Tell people, ‘His disciples came by night and stole him away while we were asleep.’
saying, “Tell them, ‘His disciples came at night and stole Him away while we were sleeping.’
and order them to say that the disciples had come in the middle of the night and had stolen Jesus’ corpse while they slept.
saying, “Say that his disciples came by night and stole him away while we slept.
They said, `Tell the people, "His disciples came by night and took away the body while we were sleeping."
and said, Say ye, that his disciples came by night, and have stolen him, while ye slept. [saying, Say ye, for his disciples came by night, and have stolen him, us sleeping.]
saying, `Say ye, that his disciples having come by night, stole him -- we being asleep;
