They that were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them,
For the foolish, when they took their lamps, took no oil with them:
For when the foolish took their lamps, they did not take any [extra] oil with them,
For when the foolish took their lamps, they did not take any [extra] oil with them;
They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
When the foolish took their lamps, they didn’t take oil with them;
When the foolish took their lamps, they didn’t take oil with them;
The foolish ones took their lamps but didn’t bring oil for them.
The foolish ones took lamps with them but no oil,
The foolish ones took their lamps, but no extra oil.
They that were foolish took their torches and did not take oil with them;
For the foolish ones, having taken their lamps, did not take oil with them.
But the five foolish, having taken their lamps, did not take oil with them:
The foolish girls took their lamps with them, but they did not take extra oil for the lamps.
The silly women took their lamps with them, but they did not take any extra oil with them.
When the foolish ones took their lamps, they did not take any oil with them;
For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them,
For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them,
The five foolish ·bridesmaids [L virgins] took their lamps, but they did not take more oil for the lamps to burn.
The foolish took their lamps, but took no oil with them.
The foolish bridesmaids took their lamps, but they didn’t take any extra oil.
The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any extra oil with them,
When the foolish took their lamps, they didn’t take olive oil with them.
The five foolish girls took their lamps, but they did not take more oil for the lamps to burn.
because when the foolish ones took their lamps, they didn’t take any oil with them.
“In those days the kingdom of Heaven will be like ten bridesmaids who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were sensible and five were foolish. The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. But the sensible ones brought their lamps and oil in their flasks as well. Then, as the bridegroom was a very long time, they all grew drowsy and fell asleep. But in the middle of the night there came a shout, ‘Wake up, here comes the bridegroom! Out you go to meet him!” Then up got the bridesmaids and attended to their lamps. The foolish ones said to the sensible ones, ‘Please give us some of your oil—our lamps are going out!’ ‘Oh no,’ returned the sensible ones, ‘there might not be enough for all of us. Better go to the oil-shop and buy some for yourselves.’ But while they had gone off to buy the oil the bridegroom arrived, and those bridesmaids who were ready went in with him for the festivities and the door was shut behind them. Later on the rest of the bridesmaids came and said, ‘Oh, please, sir, open the door for us!’ But he replied, ‘I tell you I don’t know you!’ So be on the alert—for you do not know the day or the time.
Those that were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them;

For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them,
For when the foolish ones took their lamps, they did not take olive oil with them.
But only five of them were wise enough to fill their lamps with oil, while the other five were foolish and forgot.
“God’s kingdom is like ten young virgins who took oil lamps and went out to greet the bridegroom. Five were silly and five were smart. The silly virgins took lamps, but no extra oil. The smart virgins took jars of oil to feed their lamps. The bridegroom didn’t show up when they expected him, and they all fell asleep.
Those who were foolish took their lamps, but took no oil with them.
For when the foolish took · their torches, they did not take oil with them.
The foolish bridesmaids took their lamps, but they didn’t take any extra oil.
The foolish ones, when taking their lamps, brought no oil with them,
For when the foolish took their lamps, they did not take extra oil with them;
For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them,
When the foolish ones took their lamps, they neglected to take any oil with them,
The five foolish bridesmaids took their lamps, but they did not take more oil for the lamps to burn.
When the foolish ones took their lamps, they did not take extra olive oil with them.
The foolish ones took their lamps but didn’t take any olive oil with them.
The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them.
The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them.
Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them,
The foolish women took their lamps but did not take oil with them.
The five who were foolish didn’t take enough olive oil for their lamps,
The foolish took their lamps, but took no oil with them.
When the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them;
When the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them;
When the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them;
When the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them,
The silly ones took their torches, but didn’t take oil with them.
When the foolish took their menorahs, they neglected to take shemen (oil).
“The foolish took their lamps but took no oil with them.
For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them;
For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them;
For when the foolish ones took their lamps, they took no oil with them.
Five of these women were sensible, good with details, and remembered to bring small flasks of oil for their lanterns. But five of them were flighty, too caught up in the excitement of their jaunt, and forgot to bring oil with them.
Those who were foolish, when they took their lamps, took no oil with them,
The five foolish women took their lamps but took no oil with them.
But the five fools took their lamps, and took not oil with them;
they who were foolish having taken their lamps, did not take with themselves oil;
