And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, “It is a spirit”; and they cried out for fear.

And the disciples, seeing him walking on the sea, were troubled, saying, It is an apparition. And they cried out through fear.
But the disciples, having seen Him walking on the sea, were frightened, saying that “It is a phantom”. And they cried-out from the fear.
And they seeing him walk upon the sea, were troubled, saying: It is an apparition. And they cried out for fear.
When they saw him walking on the water, it scared them. “It’s a ghost!” they said, screaming in fear.
The disciples saw him walking on the water. They were very frightened. ‘It is a spirit,’ they said. They screamed loudly because they were afraid.

Directly after this Jesus insisted on his disciples’ getting aboard their boat and going on ahead to the other side, while he himself sent the crowds home. And when he had sent them away he went up the hill-side quite alone, to pray. When it grew late he was there by himself while the boat was by now a long way from the shore at the mercy of the waves, for the wind was dead against them. In the small hours Jesus went out to them, walking on the water of the lake. When the disciples caught sight of him walking on the water they were terrified. “It’s a ghost!” they said, and screamed with fear. But at once Jesus spoke to them. “It’s all right! It’s I myself, don’t be afraid!”

Meanwhile, the boat was far out to sea when the wind came up against them and they were battered by the waves. At about four o’clock in the morning, Jesus came toward them walking on the water. They were scared to death. “A ghost!” they said, crying out in terror.

But Moshiach’s talmidim, having seen him walking on the lake, were terribly shaken, saying, It is a ruach refaim (an apparition)! From pachad they cried out.
And when His disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, “It is a spirit!” And they cried out for fear.
But when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were terrified, saying, “It is a ghost!” and they cried out for fear.

The disciples saw a figure moving toward them and were terrified. Disciple: It’s a ghost! Another Disciple: A ghost? What will we do?

His disciples saw him walking on the water. They were afraid, and said, `It is a spirit!' Then they shouted loudly because they were afraid.
And they, seeing him walking on the sea, were disturbed, and said [were distroubled, saying], That it is a phantom; and for dread they cried.
