And when ye come into a house, salute it,
And as ye enter into the house, salute it.
As you go into the house, give it your greeting [that is, ‘Peace be to this house’].
As you go into the house, give your greetings and wish it well.
And when ye come into an house, salute it.
Greet a household when you enter it,
Greet a household when you enter it,
When you go into a house, say, ‘Peace!’
When you enter someone’s household, say, ‘Shalom aleikhem!’
When you go to a home, give it your blessing of peace.
And as ye enter into a house salute it.
And while entering into the house, greet it.
And when you come into the house, salute it, saying: Peace be to this house.
When you enter that home, say, ‘Peace be with you.’
When you go into the house, say to the people there, “We pray that you will be well.”
As you enter the household, give it your greeting.
As you enter the house, greet it.

When you enter that home, ·give it your blessing [L greet it; C typically, “Peace be with you”; see Luke 10:5].

“Wherever you go, whether it is into a town or a village, find out someone who is respected, and stay with him until you leave. As you enter his house give it your blessing. If the house deserves it, the peace of your blessing will come to it. But if it doesn’t, your peace will return to you.
And entering into the house, salute it.

Now as you enter the house, give it your greeting.

When you ask permission to stay, be friendly,
“When you knock on a door, be courteous in your greeting. If they welcome you, be gentle in your conversation. If they don’t welcome you, quietly withdraw. Don’t make a scene. Shrug your shoulders and be on your way. You can be sure that on Judgment Day they’ll be mighty sorry—but it’s no concern of yours now.
