And He said unto them, “Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive that whatsoever thing from outside entereth into a man, it cannot defile him,
And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Perceive ye not, that whatsoever from without goeth into the man, it cannot defile him;
And He said to them, “Are you, too, so foolish and lacking in understanding? Do you not understand that whatever goes into the man from outside cannot defile and dishonor him,
And He said to them, Then are you also unintelligent and dull and without understanding? Do you not discern and see that whatever goes into a man from the outside cannot make him unhallowed or unclean,
And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him;
He said to them, “Are you also as lacking in understanding? Don’t you realize that nothing going into a person from the outside can defile him?
He said to them, ‘Are you also as lacking in understanding? Don’t you realise that nothing going into a person from the outside can defile him?
He said to them, “Don’t you understand either? Don’t you know that nothing from the outside that enters a person has the power to contaminate?
He replied to them, “So you too are without understanding? Don’t you see that nothing going into a person from outside can make him unclean?
He answered, “Don't you know what I am talking about by now? You surely know that the food you put into your mouth cannot make you unclean.
And he says to them, Are *ye* also thus unintelligent? Do ye not perceive that all that is outside entering into the man cannot defile him,
And He says to them, “So are even you without-understanding? Do you not perceive that everything outside proceeding into the person is not able to defile him
And he saith to them: So are you also without knowledge? understand you not that every thing from without, entering into a man cannot defile him:
He said, “Do you still have trouble understanding? Surely you know that nothing that enters the mouth from the outside can make people unacceptable to God.
Jesus said, ‘I am surprised that you too do not understand what I am saying. You should understand that food will not make people unclean. Food goes into people's bodies from outside.
He said, “Are you lacking in understanding too? Do you not understand that whatever goes into a man from the outside cannot make him unclean?
And he said to them, “Then are you also without understanding? Do you not see that whatever goes into a person from outside cannot defile him,
And he said to them, “Then are you also without understanding? Do you not see that whatever goes into a person from outside cannot defile him,
Jesus said, “·Do you still not understand [Are you so dull]? ·Surely you know [L Don’t you know…?] that nothing that enters someone from the outside can make that person ·unclean [polluted; defiled].
And he said unto them, What? are ye without understanding also? Do ye not know that whatsoever thing from without entereth into a man, cannot defile him,
Jesus said to them, “Don’t you understand? Don’t you know that whatever goes into a person from the outside can’t make him unclean?
“You are no more intelligent than the others,” Jesus said to them. “Don't you understand? Nothing that goes into you from the outside can really make you unclean,
And He said to them, “Are you also as lacking in understanding? Don’t you realize that nothing going into a man from the outside can defile him?
Jesus said, “Do you still have trouble understanding? Surely you know that nothing that enters a man from the outside can make him unclean.
He asked them, “Are you so ignorant? Don’t you know that nothing that goes into a person from the outside can make him unclean?
“Oh, are you as dull as they are?” he said. “Can’t you see that anything that goes into a man from outside cannot make him ‘common’ or unclean? You see, it doesn’t go into his heart, but into his stomach, and passes out of the body altogether, so that all food is clean enough. But,” he went on, “whatever comes out of a man, that is what makes a man ‘common’ or unclean. For it is from inside, from men’s hearts and minds, that evil thoughts arise—lust, theft, murder, adultery, greed, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, arrogance and folly! All these evil things come from inside a man and make him unclean!”
And he said unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not understand that anything from outside that enters into the man cannot defile him?

And He *said to them, “Are you lacking understanding in this way as well? Do you not perceive that whatever goes into the man from outside cannot defile him,
And he said to them, “So are you also without understanding? Do you not understand that everything that is outside that goes into a person is not able to defile him?
“Don’t you understand either?” he asked. “Can’t you see that what you eat won’t harm your soul?
Jesus said, “Are you being willfully stupid? Don’t you see that what you swallow can’t contaminate you? It doesn’t enter your heart but your stomach, works its way through the intestines, and is finally flushed.” (That took care of dietary quibbling; Jesus was saying that all foods are fit to eat.)
He said to them, “Are you so without understanding also? Do you not know that anything from the outside that enters a man cannot defile him,
So he said to them, “Are you too so lacking in understanding? Do you not know that whatever comes into a man · from outside · is not able to defile him,
Yeshua said to them, “Don’t you understand? Don’t you know that whatever goes into a person from the outside can’t make him unclean?
He said to them, “Are even you likewise without understanding? Do you not realize that everything that goes into a person from outside cannot defile,
And He *said to them, “Are you so lacking in understanding as well? Do you not understand that whatever goes into the person from outside cannot defile him,

He said to them, “Are you so foolish? Don’t you understand that whatever goes into a person from outside cannot defile him?
“Don’t you understand?” Jesus asked. “Don’t you see? Nothing that enters a person from the outside can make them ‘unclean.’
“Are you so dull?” he asked. “Don’t you see that nothing that enters a person from the outside can defile them?
‘Are you so dull?’ he asked. ‘Don’t you see that nothing that enters a person from the outside can defile them?
So He said to them, “Are you thus without understanding also? Do you not perceive that whatever enters a man from outside cannot defile him,
He said to them, “Do you not understand yet? Do you not understand that whatever goes into a man cannot make him sinful?
“Don’t you understand either?” he asked. “Can’t you see that the food you put into your body cannot defile you?
And he said to them, Are you also without understanding? Do you not yet perceive that whatever thing from without enters into a person, it cannot defile him,
He said to them, ‘Then do you also fail to understand? Do you not see that whatever goes into a person from outside cannot defile,
He said to them, ‘Then do you also fail to understand? Do you not see that whatever goes into a person from outside cannot defile,
He said to them, “Then do you also fail to understand? Do you not see that whatever goes into a person from outside cannot defile,
He said to them, “So, are you also without understanding? Do you not see that whatever goes into a person from outside cannot defile,
“You didn’t get it either?” he asked. “Don’t you see that whatever goes into someone from outside can’t make them unclean?
And he says to them, Are you so lacking in binah also? Do you not have binah that it is not what is outside and entering into the ben Adam that is able to make him tameh (unclean)?
And He said to them, “What? Are you without understanding also? Do you not know that whatever thing enters a man from outside cannot defile him,
And he said to them, “Then are you also without understanding? Do you not see that whatever goes into a man from outside cannot defile him,
And he said to them, “Then are you also without understanding? Do you not see that whatever goes into a man from outside cannot defile him,
And He said to them, “Are you then also lacking understanding? Don’t you grasp that whatever goes into the man cannot make him unholy?
Jesus: Do you mean you don’t understand this one either? Whatever goes into people from outside can’t defile them
He said to them, “Are you also without understanding? Don’t you perceive that whatever goes into the man from outside can’t defile him,
He said, `Do you still not understand? Do you not know this? What goes into a person from the outside cannot make a person dirty.
And he said to them [And he saith to them], [So] Ye be unwise also. Understand ye not, that all thing withoutforth that entereth into a man, may not defoul him?
and he saith to them, `So also ye are without understanding! Do ye not perceive that nothing from without entering into the man is able to defile him?
