And when He was alone, those who were about Him with the twelve asked Him about the parable.
And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parables.
As soon as He was alone, those who were around Him, together with the twelve [disciples], began asking Him about [the interpretation of] the parables.
And as soon as He was alone, those who were around Him, with the Twelve [apostles], began to ask Him about the parables.
And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable.
When he was alone, those around him with the Twelve asked him about the parables.
When they were alone, the people around Jesus, along with the Twelve, asked him about the parables.
When Yeshua was alone, the people around him with the Twelve asked him about the parables.
When Jesus was alone with the twelve apostles and some others, they asked him about these stories.
And when he was alone, those about him with the twelve asked him [as to] the parables.
And when He came-to-be alone, the ones around Him with the twelve were questioning Him as to the parables.
And when he was alone, the twelve that were with him asked him the parable.
Later, Jesus was away from the people. The twelve apostles and his other followers asked him about the stories.

Then when they were by themselves, his close followers and the twelve asked him about the parables, and he told them. “The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those who do not know the secret, everything remains in parables, so that, ‘seeing they may see and not perceive, and hearing they may hear and not understand; lest they should turn, and their sins be forgiven them’”.

When they were off by themselves, those who were close to him, along with the Twelve, asked about the stories. He told them, “You’ve been given insight into God’s kingdom—you know how it works. But to those who can’t see it yet, everything comes in stories, creating readiness, nudging them toward a welcome awakening. These are people— Whose eyes are open but don’t see a thing, Whose ears are open but don’t understand a word, Who avoid making an about-face and getting forgiven.”

When they were alone, the twelve and others close to Him asked why He always taught in parables instead of explaining His teachings clearly.

Later, Jesus was alone. Then the twelve disciples and the other people who were there asked him about the stories.
And when he was by himself, the twelve that were with him asked him to expound the parable.
