Simon (He surnamed Peter);
and Simon he surnamed Peter;
He appointed the twelve: Simon (to whom He gave the name Peter),
[They were] Simon, and He surnamed [him] Peter;
And Simon he surnamed Peter;
He appointed the Twelve: To Simon, he gave the name Peter;
He appointed the Twelve: To Simon, he gave the name Peter;
He appointed twelve: Peter, a name he gave Simon;
Shim‘on, to whom he gave another name, “Kefa”;
Simon was one of the twelve, and Jesus named him Peter.
And he gave to Simon the surname of Peter;
And He appointed the twelve, even Peter (He put the name on Simon),
And to Simon he gave the name Peter:
These are the names of the twelve men Jesus chose: Simon (the one Jesus named Peter),
These are the names of the 12 apostles: Simon, (Jesus called him Peter).
He appointed the Twelve: Simon, to whom he gave the name Peter;
He appointed the twelve: Simon (to whom he gave the name Peter);
He appointed the twelve: Simon (to whom he gave the name Peter);
These are the twelve he ·chose [appointed]: Simon (Jesus named him Peter),
And the first was Simon, and he named Simon, Peter,
He appointed these twelve: Simon (whom Jesus named Peter),
These are the twelve he chose: Simon (Jesus gave him the name Peter);
He appointed the Twelve: To Simon, He gave the name Peter;
These are the 12 men he chose: Simon (Jesus gave him the name Peter);
He appointed the Twelve: Simon (whom he named Peter),
Later he went up on to the hill-side and summoned the men whom he wanted, and they went up to him. He appointed a band of twelve to be his companions, whom he could send out to preach, with power to drive out evil spirits. These were the twelve he appointed: Peter (which was the new name he gave Simon), James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother (He gave them the name of Boanerges, which means the “Thunderers”.) Andrew, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus, Thaddaeus, Simon the Patriot, and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him.
Simon, whom he gave the name Peter;
And Simon he surnamed Peter;
and Simon he surnamed Peter;
And He appointed the twelve: Simon (to whom He gave the name Peter),
And he appointed the twelve. And to Simon he gave the name Peter,
These are the names of the twelve he chose: Simon (he renamed him “Peter”), James and John (the sons of Zebedee, but Jesus called them “Sons of Thunder”), Andrew, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James (the son of Alphaeus), Thaddaeus, Simon (a member of a political party advocating violent overthrow of the Roman government), Judas Iscariot (who later betrayed him).
He climbed a mountain and invited those he wanted with him. They climbed together. He settled on twelve, and designated them apostles. The plan was that they would be with him, and he would send them out to proclaim the Word and give them authority to banish demons. These are the Twelve: Simon (Jesus later named him Peter, meaning “Rock”), James, son of Zebedee, John, brother of James (Jesus nicknamed the Zebedee brothers Boanerges, meaning “Sons of Thunder”), Andrew, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James, son of Alphaeus, Thaddaeus, Simon the Canaanite, Judas Iscariot (who betrayed him).
Simon, whom He named Peter;
· He appointed the twelve: · Peter (the name he gave to Simon);
He appointed these twelve: Simon (whom Yeshua named Peter),
[he appointed the twelve:] Simon, whom he named Peter;
And He appointed the twelve: Simon (to whom He gave the name Peter),
And He appointed the twelve: Simon (to whom He gave the name Peter),
The twelve he appointed were: Simon, to whom he gave the name Peter;
These are the twelve men he chose: Simon (Jesus named him Peter),
To Simon he gave the name Peter;
So Jesus appointed the 12 disciples. Simon was one of them. Jesus gave him the name Peter.
These are the twelve he appointed: Simon (to whom he gave the name Peter),
These are the twelve he appointed: Simon (to whom he gave the name Peter);
Simon, to whom He gave the name Peter;
Jesus gave Simon another name, Peter.
These are the twelve he chose: Simon (whom he named Peter),
And he gave Simon the name Peter.
So he appointed the twelve: Simon (to whom he gave the name Peter);

In appointing the Twelve, he named Simon “Peter”;
And Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach appointed the Shneym Asar: Shimon, to whom he gave the name Kefa,
And the first was Simon. And He named Simon, ‘Peter’;
Simon whom he surnamed Peter;
Simon whom he surnamed Peter;
And He appointed the Twelve: to Simon He gave the name Peter;
Here are the names of the original twelve: Simon (whom Jesus called Peter, meaning “the rock”),
Simon (to whom he gave the name Peter);
One of the twelve was Simon, whom Jesus called Peter.
And to Simon he gave a name, Peter,
And he put on Simon the name Peter;
