Woe unto you that are full, for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now, for ye shall mourn and weep.
Woe unto you, ye that are full now! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you, ye that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep.
Woe to you who are well-fed (gorged, satiated) now, for you will be hungry. Woe to you who laugh now [enjoying a life of self-indulgence], for you will mourn and weep [and deeply long for God].
Woe to (alas for) you who are full now (completely filled, luxuriously gorged and satiated), for you shall hunger and suffer want! Woe to (alas for) you who laugh now, for you shall mourn and weep and wail!
Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep.
Woe to you who are now full, for you will be hungry. Woe to you who are now laughing, for you will mourn and weep.

How terrible for you who have plenty now, because you will be hungry. How terrible for you who laugh now, because you will mourn and weep.

You well-fed people are in for trouble. You will go hungry! You people who are laughing now are in for trouble. You are going to cry and weep!
Woe to you that are filled, for ye shall hunger. Woe to you who laugh now, for ye shall mourn and weep.
Woe to you, the ones having been filled now, because you will hunger. Woe— the ones laughing now, because you will mourn and weep.
Woe to you that are filled: for you shall hunger. Woe to you that now laugh: for you shall mourn and weep.
How bad it will be for you people who are full now, because you will be hungry. How bad it will be for you people who are laughing now, because you will be sad and cry.
Listen, you that are full with food now. It will be very bad for you and you will be hungry. Listen, you that are laughing now. It will be very bad for you. You will be sad and you will cry.
Woe to you who are well fed now, because you will be hungry. Woe to you who laugh now, because you will be mourning and weeping.

They are fat and prosperous now, but a time of awful hunger is before them. Their careless laughter now means sorrow then.
And it’s trouble ahead if you’re satisfied with yourself. Your self will not satisfy you for long. And it’s trouble ahead if you think life’s all fun and games. There’s suffering to be met, and you’re going to meet it.
Woe to you who are filled, for you shall hunger. Woe to you who laugh now, for you shall mourn and weep.
Woe to you who have had your fill now, for you will be hungry. Woe to you who laugh now, for you will mourn and weep.
How horrible it will be for those who are well-fed. They will be hungry. How horrible it will be for those who are laughing. They will mourn and cry.

It is bad for you who are full. You will be hungry. It is bad for you who laugh now. You will have sorrow and you will cry.
What sorrow awaits you who are fat and prosperous now, for a time of awful hunger awaits you. What sorrow awaits you who laugh now, for your laughing will turn to mourning and sorrow.
Woe to you who are full, for you shall hunger. Woe to you who now laugh, for you will wail and weep.
