“He has done mighty deeds with His [powerful] arm; He has scattered those who were proud in the thoughts of their heart.
He has shown strength and made might with His arm; He has scattered the proud and haughty in and by the imagination and purpose and designs of their hearts.
He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
He has done a mighty deed with his arm; he has scattered the proud because of the thoughts of their hearts;
He has shown strength with his arm. He has scattered those with arrogant thoughts and proud inclinations.
“He has performed mighty deeds with his arm, routed the secretly proud,
The Lord has used his powerful arm to scatter those who are proud.
He has wrought strength with his arm; he has scattered haughty [ones] in the thought of their heart.
He did a mighty-deed with His arm. He scattered ones proud in the thought of their heart.
He hath shewed might in his arm: he hath scattered the proud in the conceit of their heart.
He reached out his arm and showed his power. He scattered those who are proud and think great things about themselves.
He has shown how strong he is to do great things. Some people think that they are very important. But he has sent them away in different directions.
He has shown strength with his arm. He has scattered those who were proud in the thoughts of their hearts.

He has done mighty deeds ·by his power [L with his arm; C a metaphor for strength]. He has scattered the people who are proud ·and think great things about themselves [or in the schemes they devise; L in the thoughts/intentions of their hearts].

“He displayed his mighty power. He scattered those who think too highly of themselves.
He has stretched out his mighty arm and scattered the proud with all their plans.
He has done a mighty deed with His arm; He has scattered the proud because of the thoughts of their hearts;
God’s arm is strong. He scatters the people who are proud and think great things about themselves.
He displayed his mighty power with his arm. He scattered people who were proud in mind and heart.
Then Mary said, “My heart is overflowing with praise of my Lord, my soul is full of joy in God my Saviour. For he has deigned to notice me, his humble servant and, after this, all the people who ever shall be will call me the happiest of women! The one who can do all things has done great things for me—oh, holy is his Name! Truly, his mercy rests on those who fear him in every generation. He has shown the strength of his arm, he has swept away the high and mighty. He has set kings down from their thrones and lifted up the humble. He has satisfied the hungry with good things, and sent the rich away with empty hands. Yes, he has helped Israel, his child: he has remembered the mercy that he promised to our forefathers, to Abraham and his sons for evermore!”

“How powerful is his mighty arm! How he scatters the proud and haughty ones!
And Mary said, I’m bursting with God-news; I’m dancing the song of my Savior God. God took one good look at me, and look what happened— I’m the most fortunate woman on earth! What God has done for me will never be forgotten, the God whose very name is holy, set apart from all others. His mercy flows in wave after wave on those who are in awe before him. He bared his arm and showed his strength, scattered the bluffing braggarts. He knocked tyrants off their high horses, pulled victims out of the mud. The starving poor sat down to a banquet; the callous rich were left out in the cold. He embraced his chosen child, Israel; he remembered and piled on the mercies, piled them high. It’s exactly what he promised, beginning with Abraham and right up to now.

“He displayed his mighty power. He scattered those who think too highly of themselves.
He has shown might with his arm, dispersed the arrogant of mind and heart.
He has done mighty deeds with His arm; He has scattered those who were proud in the thoughts of their hearts.
“He has done mighty deeds with His arm; He has scattered those who were proud in the thoughts of their heart.
He has shown the strength of his arm, he has routed those who are arrogant in the desires of their hearts.
He has done mighty deeds by his power. He has scattered the people who are proud and think great things about themselves.
He has demonstrated power with his arm; he has scattered those whose pride wells up from the sheer arrogance of their hearts.
He has done mighty things with his powerful arm. He has scattered those who are proud in their deepest thoughts.
He has performed mighty deeds with his arm; he has scattered those who are proud in their inmost thoughts.
He has performed mighty deeds with his arm; he has scattered those who are proud in their inmost thoughts.
He has shown strength with His arm; He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
He has done powerful works with His arm. He has divided from each other those who have pride in their hearts.
His mighty arm has done tremendous things! He has scattered the proud and haughty ones.
He shows strength with his arm. He scatters those who are proud in the imagination of their hearts.

Powerful things he has done with his arm: he routed the arrogant through their own cunning.
Hashem has done niflaot (wonders) with his zeroa [arm, YESHAYAH 53:1]. He scattered those who in the machshavot (thoughts) of their levavot are the Gaayonim (the Haughty ones).

God’s arm has accomplished mighty deeds. The proud in mind and heart, God has sent away in disarray.
He has shown strength with his arm. He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
He has shown how strong he is with his arm. He has taken away people who were proud in their hearts.
He made might in his arm, he scattered proud men with the thought of his heart.
He did powerfully with His arm, He scattered abroad the proud in the thought of their heart,
