Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us,
Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to draw up a narrative concerning those matters which have been fulfilled among us,
Since [as is well known] many have undertaken to compile an orderly account of the things which have been fulfilled among us [by God],
Since [as is well known] many have undertaken to put in order and draw up a [thorough] narrative of the surely established deeds which have been accomplished and fulfilled in and among us,
Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us,

Many people have already applied themselves to the task of compiling an account of the events that have been fulfilled among us.
Dear Theophilos: Concerning the matters that have taken place among us, many people have undertaken to draw up accounts
Many people have tried to tell the story of what God has done among us.
Forasmuch as many have undertaken to draw up a relation concerning the matters fully believed among us,
In-as-much-as many undertook to compile a narrative about the things having been fulfilled among us,
Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a narration of the things that have been accomplished among us;
Most Honorable Theophilus: Many others have tried to give a report of the things that happened among us to complete God’s plan.
Many people have written about the things that have happened in our country.
Many have undertaken to compile an account of the events that have been fulfilled among us,
Inasmuch as many have undertaken to compile a narrative of the things that have been accomplished among us,
Inasmuch as many have undertaken to compile a narrative of the things that have been accomplished among us,

Many have attempted to write about what had taken place among us.
Dear Theophilus: Many people have done their best to write a report of the things that have taken place among us.
Many have undertaken to compile a narrative about the events that have been fulfilled among us,
To Theophilus: Many have tried to give a history of the things that happened among us.
Since many people have attempted to write an orderly account of the events that have transpired among us,
Dear Theophilus Many people have already written an account of the events which have happened among us, basing their work on the evidence of those whom we know were eye-witnesses as well as teachers of the message. I have therefore decided, since I have traced the course of these happenings carefully from the beginning, to set them down for you myself in their proper order, so that you may have reliable information about the matters in which you have already had instruction.
¶ Forasmuch as many have attempted to set forth in order the history of those things which among us have been most certain,

Dear friend who loves God: Several biographies of Christ have already been written using as their source material the reports circulating among us from the early disciples and other eyewitnesses.
So many others have tried their hand at putting together a story of the wonderful harvest of Scripture and history that took place among us, using reports handed down by the original eyewitnesses who served this Word with their very lives. Since I have investigated all the reports in close detail, starting from the story’s beginning, I decided to write it all out for you, most honorable Theophilus, so you can know beyond the shadow of a doubt the reliability of what you were taught.
Whereas many have undertaken to write a narrative of those things which are most surely believed among us,
Inasmuch as many have taken it in hand to compile a narrative concerning the things that have been accomplished among us,
Many have attempted to write about what had taken place among us.
Since many have undertaken to compile a narrative of the events that have been fulfilled among us,
Since many have undertaken to compile an account of the things accomplished among us,
Inasmuch as many have undertaken to compile an account of the things accomplished among us,
Since many different individuals have undertaken the task to set down an account of the events that have been fulfilled among us,
Many have tried to report on the things that happened among us.
Now many have undertaken to compile an account of the things that have been fulfilled among us,
Many people have attempted to write about the things that have taken place among us.
Many have undertaken to draw up an account of the things that have been fulfilled among us,
Many have undertaken to draw up an account of the things that have been fulfilled among us,
Inasmuch as many have taken in hand to set in order a narrative of those things which have been fulfilled among us,
Many people have written about the things that have happened among us.
Many people have set out to write accounts about the events that have been fulfilled among us.
Since many have taken in hand to compile an account of those things that are known for certain among us,
Since many have undertaken to set down an orderly account of the events that have been fulfilled among us,

Vi-bahlt (since) many Messianic Sofrim have attempted to compile a sefer, a historical narrative, about the momentous events that have been fulfilled among us,
Since many have attempted to set forth the story of those things of which we are fully persuaded
Inasmuch as many have undertaken to compile a narrative of the things which have been accomplished among us,
Inasmuch as many have undertaken to compile a narrative of the things which have been accomplished among us,
Now many have undertaken to organize an account of the events fulfilled among us,
For those who love God, several other people have already written accounts of what God has been bringing to completion among us, using the reports of the original eyewitnesses, those who were there from the start to witness the fulfillment of prophecy. Like those other servants who have recorded the messages, I present to you my carefully researched, orderly account of these new teachings.
Since many have undertaken to set in order a narrative concerning those matters which have been fulfilled among us,
Many people have tried already to write down the things that have happened among us.
[ Forsooth for many men endeavoured to ordain the telling of things, which be filled in us,
Seeing that many did take in hand to set in order a narration of the matters that have been fully assured among us,
