And the children of Israel again did evil in the sight of the Lord: and he delivered them into the hand of Madian seven years.
Again the Israelites did what the Lord said was wrong. So for seven years the Lord allowed the Midianites to defeat the Israelites.
The Israelites did things that the Lord saw were evil. So the Lord put them under the power of the Midianites for seven years.
Again the people of Israel committed evil in the eyes of the Lord, and the Lord gave them into the hand of Midian for seven years.
The people of Israel did what was evil in the sight of the Lord, and the Lord gave them into the hand of Midian seven years.

1 Israel is oppressed of the Midianites for their wickedness. 14 Gideon is sent to be their deliverer. 37 He asketh a sign. Afterward the children of Israel committed wickedness in the sight of the Lord, and the Lord gave them into the hands of Midian seven years.
The people of Israel did what the Lord considered evil. So the Lord handed them over to Midian for seven years.
Once again the people of Israel sinned against the Lord, so he let the people of Midian rule them for seven years.

Later on, the Israelis practiced what the Lord considered to be evil, so the Lord handed them over to the domination of Midian for seven years.
¶ And the sons of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and the LORD delivered them into the hands of Midian for seven years.
And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord: and the Lord delivered them into the hand of Midian seven years.
And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord: and the Lord delivered them into the hand of Midian seven years.
Then the sons of Israel did what was evil in the eyes of Yahweh; and Yahweh gave them into the hands of Midian seven years.
The Israelites did evil in the eyes of Yahweh, and Yahweh gave them into the hand of the Midianites for seven years.
Then the people of Israel began once again to worship other gods, and once again the Lord let their enemies harass them. This time it was by the people of Midian, for seven years.
Yet again the People of Israel went back to doing evil in God’s sight. God put them under the domination of Midian for seven years. Midian overpowered Israel. Because of Midian, the People of Israel made for themselves hideouts in the mountains—caves and forts. When Israel planted its crops, Midian and Amalek, the easterners, would invade them, camp in their fields, and destroy their crops all the way down to Gaza. They left nothing for them to live on, neither sheep nor ox nor donkey. Bringing their cattle and tents, they came in and took over, like an invasion of locusts. And their camels—past counting! They marched in and devastated the country. The People of Israel, reduced to grinding poverty by Midian, cried out to God for help.
The children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord, so the Lord gave them into the hands of Midian for seven years.
The people of Israel did what Yahweh considered evil. So Yahweh handed them over to Midian for seven years.
The Israelites did what was evil in the sight of the Lord, who therefore delivered them into the power of Midian for seven years,
Then the sons of Israel did what was evil in the sight of the Lord; and the Lord handed them over to Midian for seven years.
Then the sons of Israel did what was evil in the sight of the Lord; and the Lord gave them into the hands of Midian seven years.
The Israelites once again did what is evil in the sight of the Lord, so the Lord delivered them into the hands of Midian for seven years.
Again the Israelites did what the Lord said was wrong. So for seven years the Lord handed them over to Midian.
The Israelites did evil in the Lord’s sight, so the Lord turned them over to Midian for seven years.
The Israelites did what was evil in the sight of the Lord. So for seven years he handed them over to the people of Midian.
The Israelites did evil in the eyes of the Lord, and for seven years he gave them into the hands of the Midianites.

When the people of Israel again did what the Eternal One considered evil, He made them serve the Midianites for seven years.
The children of Israel did that which was evil in Yahweh’s sight, so Yahweh delivered them into the hand of Midian seven years.
Forsooth the sons of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord, and he betook them into the hand of Midian seven years. (And the Israelites did more evil before the Lord, and he delivered them into the hands of the Midianites for seven years.)
And the sons of Israel do the evil thing in the eyes of Jehovah, and Jehovah giveth them into the hand of Midian seven years,
