Listen, everyone! Whether you ride a donkey with a padded saddle or have to walk.
Ye that ride on white she-asses, ye that sit on carpets, and ye that walk by the way, consider.
Speak, you that ride upon fair asses, and you that sit in judgment, and walk in the way.
“Pay attention you people riding on white donkeys, sitting on saddle blankets, and walking along the road.
Listen to me, you rich people who ride on white donkeys, with beautiful cloths to sit on. And you people who walk along the road, you should listen too!
Riders on tan donkey mares, you who sit on saddle blankets, as well as those who walk along the way—consider this:
“Tell of it, you who ride on white donkeys, you who sit on rich carpets and you who walk by the way.

You people who ride on brown donkeys, who sit on saddle blankets, and who walk on the road—think.
Tell of it, you that ride on white donkeys, sitting on saddles, and you that must walk wherever you go.
You who ride on white donkeys, who sit on saddle blankets, and who travel on the road, give praise!
“You who ride on white donkeys and sit on saddle blankets, listen! And you who walk along the road, listen!
“Speak up, you who ride white donkeys, sitting on cloth saddles while you travel on your way!
Speak, ye that ride on white asses, ye that preside in judgment, and walk by the way.
Speak, ye that ride on white asses, ye that sit in judgment, and walk by the way.
Speak, ye that ride on white asses, ye that sit in judgment, and walk by the way.
You who ride on white donkeys, You who sit on rich carpets, And you who travel on the road—muse aloud!
The riders of white female donkeys, those sitting on saddle blankets, and those going on the way, talk about it!
Let all Israel, rich and poor, Join in his praises— Those who ride on white donkeys And sit on rich carpets, And those who are poor and must walk.
You who ride on prize donkeys comfortably mounted on blankets And you who walk down the roads, ponder, attend! Gather at the town well and listen to them sing, Chanting the tale of God’s victories, his victories accomplished in Israel. Then the people of God went down to the city gates.
