And they asked him, and said unto him, “Why dost thou baptize then if thou art not that Christ, nor Elijah, neither that Prophet?”
And they asked him, and said unto him, Why then baptizest thou, if thou art not the Christ, neither Elijah, neither the prophet?
They asked him, “Why then are you baptizing, if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?”
And they asked him, Why then are you baptizing if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?
And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet?
So they asked him, “Why then do you baptize if you aren’t the Messiah, or Elijah, or the Prophet?”
So they asked him, ‘Why then do you baptise if you aren’t the Messiah, or Elijah, or the Prophet? ’
asked, “Why do you baptize if you aren’t the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the prophet?”
They asked him, “If you are neither the Messiah nor Eliyahu nor ‘the prophet,’ then why are you immersing people?”
They asked him, “Why are you baptizing people, if you are not the Messiah or Elijah or the Prophet?”
And they asked him and said to him, Why baptisest thou then, if thou art not the Christ, nor Elias, nor the prophet?
And they asked him, and said to him, “Why then are you baptizing if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?”
And they asked him, and said to him: Why then dost thou baptize, if thou be not Christ, nor Elias, nor the prophet?
They said to John, “You say you are not the Messiah. You say you are not Elijah or the Prophet. Then why do you baptize people?”
They said to John, ‘You say that you are not the Messiah, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet. So why do you baptize people?’
So they asked John, “Why then do you baptize, if you are not the Christ, or Elijah, or the Prophet?”
They asked him, “Then why are you baptizing, if you are neither the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?”
They asked him, “Then why are you baptizing, if you are neither the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?”
“If you are not the ·Christ [Messiah] or Elijah or the Prophet [1:21], why do you baptize people?”
And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ, neither Elijah, nor that Prophet?
They asked John, “Why do you baptize if you’re not the Messiah or Elijah or the prophet?”
then asked John, “If you are not the Messiah nor Elijah nor the Prophet, why do you baptize?”
So they asked him, “Why then do you baptize if you aren’t the Messiah, or Elijah, or the Prophet?”
They said to John: “You say you are not the Christ. You say you are not Elijah or the Prophet. Then why do you baptize people?”
They asked him, “Why, then, are you baptizing if you are not the Messiah, or Elijah, or the Prophet?”
Now some of the Pharisees had been sent to John, and they questioned him, “What is the reason, then, for your baptising people if you are not Christ and not Elijah and not the Prophet?”
And they asked him and said unto him, Why dost thou baptize then if thou art not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the prophet?
And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet?
And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet?
And they asked him, and said to him, “Why then are you baptizing, if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?”

Then those who were sent by the Pharisees asked him, “If you aren’t the Messiah or Elijah or the Prophet, what right do you have to baptize?”
Those sent to question him were from the Pharisee party. Now they had a question of their own: “If you’re neither the Messiah, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet, why do you baptize?”
They asked him, “Why do you baptize then, if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?”
So they asked him, · saying, “Why then are you baptizing, if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?”
They asked John, “Why do you baptize if you’re not the Messiah or Elijah or the prophet?”
They asked him, “Why then do you baptize if you are not the Messiah or Elijah or the Prophet?”
They asked him, and said to him, “Why then are you baptizing, if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?”

“If you are not the Christ or Elijah or the Prophet, why do you baptize people?”
So they asked John, “Why then are you baptizing if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?”
asked him, “If you are not the Messiah, why are you baptizing people? Why are you doing that if you aren’t Elijah or the Prophet we’ve been expecting?”
questioned him, “Why then do you baptize if you are not the Messiah, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?”
questioned him, ‘Why then do you baptise if you are not the Messiah, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?’
And they asked him, saying, “Why then do you baptize if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?”
They asked John again, “Then why do you baptize if you are not the Christ or Elijah or that special One Who was to come to speak for God?”
asked him, “If you aren’t the Messiah or Elijah or the Prophet, what right do you have to baptize?”
And they asked him and said to him, Why do you baptize then, if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor a prophet?
They asked him, ‘Why then are you baptizing if you are neither the Messiah, nor Elijah, nor the prophet?’
They asked him, ‘Why then are you baptizing if you are neither the Messiah, nor Elijah, nor the prophet?’
They asked him, “Why then are you baptizing if you are neither the Messiah, nor Elijah, nor the prophet?”
They asked him, “Why, then, are you baptizing if you are neither the Messiah, nor Elijah, nor the prophet?”
They continued to question him. “So why are you baptizing,” they asked, “if you aren’t the Messiah, or Elijah, or the Prophet?”
And the Perushim asked Yochanan, If you are not the [Rebbe,] Melech HaMoshiach nor Eliyahu nor the Navi, then why do you administer the mikveh mayim’s tevilah?
And they asked him, and said to him, “Why do you baptize, then, if you are neither the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?”
They asked him, “Then why are you baptizing, if you are neither the Christ, nor Eli′jah, nor the prophet?”
They asked him, “Then why are you baptizing, if you are neither the Christ, nor Eli′jah, nor the prophet?”
They asked him, “If you’re not the Messiah, Elijah, or the Prophet, why then are you immersing?”
Then some of those sent by the Pharisees questioned him again. Religious Leaders: How can you travel the countryside baptizing people if you are not the Anointed One or Elijah or the Prophet?
They asked him, “Why then do you baptize if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the prophet?”
So they asked him, `If you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet, why then are you baptizing?'
And they asked him, and said to him, What then baptizest thou, if thou art not Christ, neither Elias, neither a prophet?
and they questioned him and said to him, `Why, then, dost thou baptize, if thou art not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the prophet?'
