None is so fierce that dare stir him up. Who then is able to stand before Me?
None is so fierce that he dare stir him up; Who then is he that can stand before me?
“No one is so fierce [and foolhardy] that he dares to stir up Leviathan; Who then is he who can stand before Me [or dares to contend with Me, the beast’s creator]?
No one is so fierce [and foolhardy] that he dares to stir up [the crocodile]; who then is he who can stand before Me [the beast’s Creator, or dares to contend with Me]?
None is so fierce that dare stir him up: who then is able to stand before me?
No one is ferocious enough to rouse Leviathan; who then can stand against me?
Nobody is fierce enough to rouse him; who then can stand before me?
“When he sneezes, light flashes out; his eyes are like the shimmer of dawn.
And if it is too fierce for anyone to attack, who would dare oppose me?
None is so bold as to stir him up; and who is he that will stand before me?
Out of his mouth go forth lamps, like torches of lighted fire.
No one is brave enough to wake him up and make him angry. “Well, no one can challenge me either!
No one is brave enough to wake it. So is anyone brave enough to argue against me?
No one is fierce enough to risk stirring him up. Who then can stand before me?
No one is so fierce that he dares to stir him up. Who then is he who can stand before me?
No one is so fierce that he dares to stir him up. Who then is he who can stand before me?
No one is ·brave [fierce] enough to ·make it angry [arouse it; stir it up], so who would be able to stand up against ·me [or it]?
Out of his mouth go lamps, and sparks of fire leap out.
No one is brave enough to provoke Leviathan. Then who can stand in front of me?
When he is aroused, he is fierce; no one would dare to stand before him.
No one is ferocious enough to rouse Leviathan; who then can stand against Me?
No one is brave enough to make him angry. So who would be able to stand up against me?
No one is fierce enough to dare to arouse him. “Who, then, can stand in my presence and face me?
No one is so bold as to dare stir him up; who then shall be able to stand before me?
None is so fierce that dare stir him up: who then is able to stand before me?
None is so fierce that dare stir him up: who then is able to stand before me?
No one is so fierce that he dares to arouse it; Who then is he that can stand before Me?
Is it not fierce when somebody stirs it? Who then is he who would stand before it?
No one dares to stir him up, let alone try to conquer him. And if no one can stand before him, who can stand before me?
“Or can you pull in the sea beast, Leviathan, with a fly rod and stuff him in your creel? Can you lasso him with a rope, or snag him with an anchor? Will he beg you over and over for mercy, or flatter you with flowery speech? Will he apply for a job with you to run errands and serve you the rest of your life? Will you play with him as if he were a pet goldfish? Will you make him the mascot of the neighborhood children? Will you put him on display in the market and have shoppers haggle over the price? Could you shoot him full of arrows like a pin cushion, or drive harpoons into his huge head? If you so much as lay a hand on him, you won’t live to tell the story. What hope would you have with such a creature? Why, one look at him would do you in! If you can’t hold your own against his glowering visage, how, then, do you expect to stand up to me? Who could confront me and get by with it? I’m in charge of all this—I run this universe!

No one is so reckless that he dares to stir him; Who then is he who opposes Me?
“No one is so fierce that he dares to arouse him; Who then is he that can stand before Me?
“When it sneezes, sprays of light flash forth, and its eyes are like the rays of the dawn.
No one is brave enough to make it angry, so who would be able to stand up against me?
Is it not fierce when it is awakened? Who is he, then, who can stand before it?
No one dares to wake it up. So who can possibly stand up to me?
No one is fierce enough to rouse it. Who then is able to stand against me?
No one is fierce enough to rouse it. Who then is able to stand against me?
No one is so fierce that he would dare stir him up. Who then is able to stand against Me?
No one is so powerful that he would wake him. Who then can stand before Me?
And since no one dares to disturb it, who then can stand up to me?
No one is so fierce as to dare to stir it up. Who can stand before it?
No one is so fierce as to dare to stir it up. Who can stand before it?

I not as cruel shall raise him; for who may against-stand my face? (Who would even dare raise up one who is so fierce? yea, who can stand before his face?)
None so fierce that he doth awake him, And who [is] he before Me stationeth himself?
