Lo, these are parts of His ways, but how little a portion is heard of Him! But the thunder of His power, who can understand?”
Lo, these are but the outskirts of his ways: And how small a whisper do we hear of him! But the thunder of his power who can understand?
“Yet these are just the fringes of His ways [mere samples of His power], The faintest whisper of His voice! Who can contemplate the thunder of His [full] mighty power?”
Yet these are but [a small part of His doings] the outskirts of His ways or the mere fringes of His force, the faintest whisper of His voice! Who dares contemplate or who can understand the thunders of His full, magnificent power?
Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?
These are but the fringes of his ways; how faint is the word we hear of him! Who can understand his mighty thunder?
These are but the fringes of his ways; how faint is the word we hear of him! Who can understand his mighty thunder?
Look, these are only the outer fringe of his ways; we hear only a whispered word about him. Who can understand his thunderous power?
And these are but the fringes of his ways; how faint the echo we hear of him! But who is able to grasp the meaning of his thundering power?”
These things are merely a whisper of God's power at work. How little we would understand if this whisper ever turned into thunder!
Lo, these are the borders of his ways; but what a whisper of a word do we hear of him! And the thunder of his power, who can understand?
Lo, these things are said in part of his ways: and seeing we have heard scarce a little drop of his word, who shall be able to behold the thunder of his greatness?
These are only a few of the amazing things God has done. We hear only a small whisper of God’s thundering power.”
These are only a few of the things that God does. We only know about a few small things. If he used all of his power, we could never understand.’
But all these are just the fringe of his ways! How faint a whisper we hear of him! Who understands his power, which is displayed in the thunder?
Behold, these are but the outskirts of his ways, and how small a whisper do we hear of him! But the thunder of his power who can understand?”

Lo, these are part of his ways: but how little a portion hear we of him? and who can understand his fearful power?
“These are only glimpses of what he does. We ⌞only⌟ hear a whisper of him! Who can understand the thunder of his power?”
But these are only hints of his power, only the whispers that we have heard. Who can know how truly great God is?
These are but the fringes of His ways; how faint is the word we hear of Him! Who can understand His mighty thunder?
And these are only a small part of God’s works. We only hear a small whisper of him. So who can understand God’s thundering power?”
Indeed, these are the fringes of his ways, and how faint is the whisper we’ve heard of it! But who can comprehend the thunder of his might?”

“These are some of the minor things he does, merely a whisper of his power. Who then can withstand his thunder?”
“All the buried dead are in torment, and all who’ve been drowned in the deep, deep sea. Hell is ripped open before God, graveyards dug up and exposed. He spreads the skies over unformed space, hangs the earth out in empty space. He pours water into cumulus cloud-bags and the bags don’t burst. He makes the moon wax and wane, putting it through its phases. He draws the horizon out over the ocean, sets a boundary between light and darkness. Thunder crashes and rumbles in the skies. Listen! It’s God raising his voice! By his power he stills sea storms, by his wisdom he tames sea monsters. With one breath he clears the sky, with one finger he crushes the sea serpent. And this is only the beginning, a mere whisper of his rule. Whatever would we do if he really raised his voice!”
Indeed, these are but a part of His ways, and how small a whisper we hear of Him! But the thunder of His power who can understand?”

Those are only on the edges of what he does. They are only the soft whispers that we hear from him. So who can understand how very powerful he is?”

See, these are only a few of the things He does. And how quiet are the words spoken about Him! But who can understand His powerful thunder?”
These are just the beginning of all that he does, merely a whisper of his power. Who, then, can comprehend the thunder of his power?”

And all of this, all of these are the mere edges of His capabilities. We are privy to only a whisper of His power. Who then dares to claim understanding of His thunderous might?
Behold, these are but the outskirts of his ways. How small a whisper do we hear of him! But the thunder of his power who can understand?”
Lo! these things be said in part of his ways; and when we have heard scarcely a little drop of his word, who may see the thunder of his greatness? (Lo! these things that be said be but a part of his ways; and as we have scarcely heard but a little drop of his word, who can understand the thunder of his greatness?)
Lo, these [are] the borders of His way, And how little a matter is heard of Him, And the thunder of His might Who doth understand?
