Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in His sight.
Behold, even the moon hath no brightness, And the stars are not pure in his sight:
“Behold, even the moon has no brightness [compared to God’s majesty and glory] And the stars are not pure in His sight,
Behold, even the moon has no brightness [compared to God’s glory] and the stars are not pure in His sight—
Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight.
If even the moon does not shine and the stars are not pure in his sight,
If even the moon is not bright and the stars not pure in his eyes,
Why, before him even the moon lacks brightness, and the stars themselves are not pure.
To him, not even the light of the moon and stars can ever be pure.
Lo, even the moon is not bright; and the stars are not pure in his sight:
Behold even the moon doth not shine, and the stars are not pure in his sight.
In God’s eyes even the moon is not pure and bright; even the stars are not pure.
When God looks at the moon and the stars, they do not seem to be pure and bright.
If even the moon does not shine brightly for him, and if the stars are not pure in his eyes,
Behold, even the moon is not bright, and the stars are not pure in his eyes;
Behold, even the moon is not bright, and the stars are not pure in his eyes;
Even the moon is not bright and the stars are not pure in his eyes.
Behold, he will give no light to the Moon, and the Stars are unclean in his sight.
Even the moon isn’t bright, and the stars aren’t pure in his sight.
In his eyes even the moon is not bright, or the stars pure.
If even the moon does not shine and the stars are not pure in His sight,
Even the moon is not bright, and the stars are not pure in his eyes.
Behold, even the moon isn’t bright, and the stars aren’t pure in his eyes.
Behold, even the moon shall not shine, neither are the stars pure in his sight.
Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight.
Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight.
Behold even the moon has no brightness, And the stars are not pure in His sight;
Look, even the moon is not bright, and the stars are not pure in his sight.
God is so glorious that even the moon and stars are less than nothing as compared to him.
Bildad the Shuhite again attacked Job: “God is sovereign, God is fearsome— everything in the cosmos fits and works in his plan. Can anyone count his angel armies? Is there any place where his light doesn’t shine? How can a mere mortal presume to stand up to God? How can an ordinary person pretend to be guiltless? Why, even the moon has its flaws, even the stars aren’t perfect in God’s eyes, So how much less, plain men and women— slugs and maggots by comparison!”
Behold, even the moon does not shine, and the stars are not pure in His sight;
Even the moon isn’t bright, and the stars aren’t pure in his sight.
Even the moon is not bright and the stars are not clean in his eyes.
If even the moon has no brightness And the stars are not pure in His sight,
“If even the moon has no brightness And the stars are not pure in His sight,
If in his eyes the moon is not bright and the stars are not pure,
Even the moon is not bright and the stars are not pure in his eyes.
If even the moon is not bright, and the stars are not pure as far as he is concerned,
Even the moon isn’t bright and the stars aren’t pure in God’s eyes.
If even the moon is not bright and the stars are not pure in his eyes,
If even the moon is not bright and the stars are not pure in his eyes,
If even the moon does not shine, And the stars are not pure in His sight,
See, even the moon is not bright and the stars are not pure in His eyes.
God is more glorious than the moon; he shines brighter than the stars.
If even the moon is not bright and the stars are not pure in his sight,
If even the moon is not bright and the stars are not pure in his sight,
If even the moon is not bright and the stars are not pure in his sight,
If even the moon is not bright and the stars are not pure in his sight,
If even the yarei’ach shineth not, yea, the kokhavim are not pure in His sight,
Behold, even the moon is not bright and the stars are not clean in his sight;
Behold, even the moon is not bright and the stars are not clean in his sight;
If even the moon is not bright and the stars are not pure in His eyes,
If even the moon is not bright enough and the light of the stars is not pure in His estimation,
Behold, even the moon has no brightness, and the stars are not pure in his sight;
Lo! also the moon shineth not, and [the] stars be not clean in his sight; (Lo! to his eyes, the moon shineth not, and the stars be not pure;)
Lo -- unto the moon, and it shineth not, And stars have not been pure in His eyes.
