So that they go about naked without clothing, And being hungry they carry the sheaves.
“They cause the poor to go about naked without clothing, And they take away the sheaves [of grain] from the hungry.
So that the needy go about naked for lack of clothing, and though hungry, they must carry [but not eat from] the sheaves.
They cause him to go naked without clothing, and they take away the sheaf from the hungry;
Without clothing, they wander about naked. They carry sheaves but go hungry.

The poor go around naked, without clothes, carry bundles of grain while hungry,
so that they go about stripped, unclothed; they go hungry, as they carry sheaves [of grain];
Then they are forced to work naked in the grain fields because they have no clothes, and they go hungry.
These go naked without clothing, and, hungry, they bear the sheaf;
From the naked and them that go without clothing, and from the hungry they have taken away the ears of corn.
They have no clothes, so they work naked. They carry piles of grain for others, but they go hungry.
Poor people have to go out with no clothes to wear. They are hungry while they carry the crops of other people.
The poor walk around naked, without clothing. They pick up sheaves but are still hungry.
They go about naked, without clothing; hungry, they carry the sheaves;
They go about naked, without clothing; hungry, they carry the sheaves;
So the poor ·go [wander] around naked without any clothes; they carry bundles of grain but still go hungry;
They cause him to go naked without clothing, and take the gleaning from the hungry.
⌞That is why⌟ the poor go around naked. They are hungry, yet they carry bundles of grain.
But the poor must go out with no clothes to protect them; they must go hungry while harvesting wheat.
Without clothing, they wander about naked. They carry sheaves but go hungry.
So the poor go around naked because they have no clothes. They carry bundles of grain for evil people, but they still go hungry.
They wander around naked, without clothes; hungry, though they carry sheaves of grain.
They cause the naked to go without clothing, and they take away the sheaves from the hungry.
They cause him to go naked without clothing, and they take away the sheaf from the hungry;

Those poor ones walk about naked without clothing, And hungry ones carry the sheaves.
They go about naked, without clothing, and hungry, they carry the sheaves.
That is why they must go about naked, without clothing, and are forced to carry food while they are starving.
“But if Judgment Day isn’t hidden from the Almighty, why are we kept in the dark? There are people out there getting by with murder— stealing and lying and cheating. They rip off the poor and exploit the unfortunate, Push the helpless into the ditch, bully the weak so that they fear for their lives. The poor, like stray dogs and cats, scavenge for food in back alleys. They sort through the garbage of the rich, eke out survival on handouts. Homeless, they shiver through cold nights on the street; they’ve no place to lay their heads. Exposed to the weather, wet and frozen, they huddle in makeshift shelters. Nursing mothers have their babies snatched from them; the infants of the poor are kidnapped and sold. They go about patched and threadbare; even the hard workers go hungry. No matter how backbreaking their labor, they can never make ends meet. People are dying right and left, groaning in torment. The wretched cry out for help and God does nothing, acts like nothing’s wrong!
They cause him to go naked without clothing, and they take away the sheaf from the hungry.
That is why the poor go around naked. They are hungry, yet they carry bundles of grain.
They go about naked, without clothing, and famished, they carry the sheaves.
The poor move about naked without clothing, And they carry sheaves, while going hungry.
“They cause the poor to go about naked without clothing, And they take away the sheaves from the hungry.
They go about their work naked, without clothing; despite their hunger they carry the sheaves.
So the poor go around naked without any clothes; they carry bundles of grain but still go hungry;
They go about naked, without clothing, and go hungry while they carry the sheaves.
The poor don’t have any clothes. They go around naked. They carry bundles of grain, but they still go hungry.

“They cause him to go naked without clothing and take the gleaning from the hungry.

They wander about naked, without clothing and go hungry while they carry sheaves.
They force the poor to wander naked, no clothing to be had, carrying the very bundles of grain they long to eat.
so that they go around naked without clothing. Being hungry, they carry the sheaves.
They took away ears of corn from naked men, and (those) going without cloak, and from hungry men. (They took away clothes from those who now must go naked, and ears of corn from the hungry.)
Naked, they have gone without clothing, And hungry -- have taken away a sheaf.
