“Will you keep to the ancient path That wicked men walked [in the time of Noah],
Will you pay attention and keep to the old way that wicked men trod [in Noah’s time],
Hast thou marked the old way which wicked men have trodden?
Will you continue on the ancient path that wicked men have walked?
Will you continue on the ancient path that wicked men have walked?
Will you keep the ancient way traveled by sinful persons,
“Are you going to keep to the old way, the one the wicked have trodden,
Give up those ancient ideas believed by sinners,
Dost thou mark the ancient path which wicked men have trodden?
Dost thou desire to keep the path of ages, which wicked men have trodden?
“Job, you are walking on the old path that evil people walked on long ago.
Job, you must not continue to turn against God. That is the way that evil people lived long ago.
Are you the guardian of the ancient way, the one traveled by wicked men?
Will you keep to the old way that wicked men have trod?
Will you keep to the old way that wicked men have trod?
Are you going to ·stay on [guard] the ·old [ancient] path where ·evil [guilty] people ·walk [tread]?
Hast thou marked the way of the world, wherein wicked men have walked?
“Are you following the old path that wicked people have taken?
Are you determined to walk in the paths that evil people have always followed?
Will you continue on the ancient path that wicked men have walked?
Are you going to stay on the old path where evil people walk?
“Will you keep walking on the traditional path that sinners have tread,
¶ Dost thou desire to keep the old way which wicked men have trodden?
Hast thou marked the old way which wicked men have trodden?

Will you keep to the ancient path Which wicked men have trod,
Will you keep to the way of old that the people of mischief have trod,
“Don’t you realize that those treading the ancient paths of sin are snatched away in youth, and the foundations of their lives washed out forever?
“Are you going to persist in that tired old line that wicked men and women have always used? Where did it get them? They died young, flash floods sweeping them off to their doom. They told God, ‘Get lost! What good is God Almighty to us?’ And yet it was God who gave them everything they had. It’s beyond me how they can carry on like this!
Will you keep to the old way, that wicked men have trod?
“Are you following the old path that wicked people have taken?
Do you indeed keep to the ancient way trodden by the worthless?
Will you keep to the ancient path Which wicked people have walked,
“Will you keep to the ancient path Which wicked men have trod,
“Will you still continue to follow the ancient way that those who are wicked have trod?
Are you going to stay on the old path where evil people walk?
Will you keep to the old path that evil men have walked—
Will you stay on the old path that sinful people have walked on?
Will you keep to the old path that the wicked have trod?
Will you keep to the old path that the wicked have trod?

“Will you continue on the old paths where evil people have walked?

The path of the age dost thou observe, That men of iniquity have trodden?
