Because he hath oppressed and hath forsaken the poor, because he hath violently taken away a house which he built not,
For he hath oppressed and forsaken the poor; He hath violently taken away a house, and he shall not build it up.
“For he has oppressed and neglected the poor; He has violently taken away houses which he did not build.
For he has oppressed and forsaken the poor; he has violently taken away a house which he did not build.
Because he hath oppressed and hath forsaken the poor; because he hath violently taken away an house which he builded not;
For he oppressed and abandoned the poor; he seized a house he did not build.

They crushed and abandoned the poor; stole a house they didn’t build;
“For he crushed and abandoned the poor, seizing houses he did not build,
because they cheated the poor and took their homes.
For he hath oppressed, hath forsaken the poor; he hath violently taken away a house that he did not build.
Because he broke in and stripped the poor: he hath violently taken away a house which he did not build.
because he hurt the poor and left them with nothing. He took houses he did not build.
This will happen because he has been cruel to poor people. He has refused to help them. He has taken houses for himself that do not belong to him.
because he has crushed and abandoned the poor, and he has stolen a house he did not build.
For he has crushed and abandoned the poor; he has seized a house that he did not build.
For he has crushed and abandoned the poor; he has seized a house that he did not build.
because they ·troubled the poor and left them with nothing [L crushed and abandoned the poor]. They have ·taken [stolen] houses they did not build [Prov. 28:27; 29:7].
For he hath undone many: he hath forsaken the poor, and hath spoiled houses which he built not.
because he crushed and abandoned the poor. He has taken by force a house that he didn’t build.
because they oppressed and neglected the poor and seized houses someone else had built.
For he oppressed and abandoned the poor; he seized a house he did not build.
This is because he has troubled the poor people and left them with nothing. He has taken houses he did not build.
because he has crushed and abandoned the poor; he has seized a house that he didn’t build.
Because he oppressed and forsook the poor; because he has violently taken away houses which he did not build,
Because he hath oppressed and hath forsaken the poor; because he hath violently taken away an house which he builded not;
Because he hath oppressed and hath forsaken the poor; because he hath violently taken away an house which he builded not;
For he has crushed and forsaken the poor; He has seized a house which he has not built.
for he has oppressed; he has abandoned the poor; he has seized a house but did not build it.
For he has oppressed the poor and foreclosed their homes; he will never recover.
“They savor evil as a delicacy, roll it around on their tongues, Prolong the flavor, a dalliance in decadence— real gourmets of evil! But then they get stomach cramps, a bad case of food poisoning. They gag on all that rich food; God makes them vomit it up. They gorge on evil, make a diet of that poison— a deadly diet—and it kills them. No quiet picnics for them beside gentle streams with fresh-baked bread and cheese, and tall, cool drinks. They spit out their food half-chewed, unable to relax and enjoy anything they’ve worked for. And why? Because they exploited the poor, took what never belonged to them.

For he has taken from the poor and left them with nothing. He has taken houses which he has not built.

Because he hath oppressed and hath forsaken the destitute; because he hath violently seized a bais which he built not;

For he has oppressed and abandoned the poor. He has seized a house he did not build.
After all, he’s an oppressor; he’s crushed and forsaken the poor; he made his home in a house he stole from another, a house he did not build himself.
For he has oppressed and forsaken the poor. He has violently taken away a house, and he will not build it up.
For he brake, and made naked the house of the poor man; he ravished it, and builded it not. (For he broke into, and emptied out, the house of the poor; and he stole, what he did not build.)
For he oppressed -- he forsook the poor, A house he hath taken violently away, And he doth not build it.
