Now therefore, why hast thou not reproved Jeremiah of Anathoth, who maketh himself a prophet to you?

now therefore [continued the letter from Shemaiah in Babylon to Zephaniah in Jerusalem], why have you not rebuked Jeremiah of Anathoth, who prophesies to you?

So now, why have you not rebuked Jeremiah of Anathoth who has been acting like a prophet among you?
So now, why have you not rebuked Jeremiah of Anathoth who has been acting like a prophet among you?
So why haven’t you threatened Jeremiah of Anathoth, who pretends to be a prophet among you?
So why haven’t you rebuked Yirmeyahu of ‘Anatot, who makes himself out to be a prophet for you?
Jeremiah from the town of Anathoth is pretending to be a prophet there in Jerusalem, so why haven't you punished him?
And now, why hast thou not reproved Jeremiah of Anathoth, who maketh himself a prophet to you?
And now why hast thou not rebuked Jeremias the Anathothite, who prophesieth to you?
Now Jeremiah is acting like a prophet. So why didn’t you arrest him?
That is your job, so I do not know why you have not punished Jeremiah, the man from Anathoth. He is there and he is prophesying to you.
So why have you not rebuked Jeremiah from Anathoth, who makes himself out to be a prophet among you?
Now why have you not rebuked Jeremiah of Anathoth who is prophesying to you?

Now Jeremiah from Anathoth is acting like a prophet. So why haven’t you ·arrested [L rebuked] him?

Why haven't you done this to Jeremiah of Anathoth, who has been speaking as a prophet to the people?
So now, why have you not rebuked Jeremiah of Anathoth who has been acting like a prophet among you?
Now Jeremiah from Anathoth is acting like a prophet. So why haven’t you arrested him?
And now, why didn’t you rebuke Jeremiah from Anathoth who prophesies to you?
Now therefore why hast thou not reprehended Jeremiah of Anathoth, for prophesying falsely unto you?
Now therefore why hast thou not reproved Jeremiah of Anathoth, which maketh himself a prophet to you?

and so then why have you not rebuked Jeremiah the Anathothite who exhibits the behavior of a prophet for you?
Why haven’t you done something about this false prophet Jeremiah of Anathoth?
“So why haven’t you done anything about muzzling Jeremiah of Anathoth, who’s going around posing as a prophet? He’s gone so far as to write to us in Babylon, ‘It’s going to be a long exile, so build houses and make yourselves at home. Plant gardens and prepare Babylonian recipes.’”
Now therefore why have you not reproved Jeremiah of Anathoth who prophesies to you?

Now Jeremiah from Anathoth is acting like a prophet. So why haven’t you arrested him?
You should have reprimanded Jeremiah from Anathoth who is pretending to be a prophet among you!
So why haven’t you punished Jeremiah from Anathoth? He claims to be a prophet among you.

So why haven’t you put a stop to Jeremiah of Anathoth who poses among you as a prophet of God?
Now therefore, why have you not rebuked Jeremiah of Anathoth, who makes himself a prophet to you,
And now why blamest thou not Jeremy of Anathoth, that prophesieth to you? (And so now why hast thou not rebuked Jeremiah of Anathoth, who prophesieth to you?)
And now, why hast thou not pushed against Jeremiah of Anathoth, who is making himself a prophet to you?
