Thus saith the Lord unto me, “Go and get thee a linen girdle, and put it upon thy loins, and put it not in water.”
Thus saith Jehovah unto me, Go, and buy thee a linen girdle, and put it upon thy loins, and put it not in water.
Thus the Lord said to me, “Go and buy yourself a linen waistband and put it on your loins, but do not put it in water.”
Thus the Lord said to me: Go and buy yourself a linen girdle and put it on your loins, but do not put it in water.
Thus saith the Lord unto me, Go and get thee a linen girdle, and put it upon thy loins, and put it not in water.
This is what the Lord said to me: “Go and buy yourself a linen undergarment and put it on. But do not put it in water.”
This is what the Lord said to me: ‘Go and buy yourself a linen undergarment and put it on. But do not put it in water.’
The Lord proclaimed to me: Go and buy a linen undergarment. Wear it for a while without washing it.
Adonai said to me, “Go, buy yourself a linen loincloth, and wrap it around your body; but don’t soften it in water.”
The Lord told me, “Go and buy a pair of linen shorts. Wear them for a while, but don't wash them.”
Thus said Jehovah unto me: Go and buy thee a linen girdle, and put it upon thy loins; but dip it not in water.
Thus saith the Lord to me: Go, and get thee a linen girdle, and thou shalt put it about thy loins, and shalt not put it into water.
This is what the Lord said to me: “Jeremiah, go and buy a linen loincloth. Then put it around your waist. Don’t let it get wet.”
The Lord said to me, ‘Go and buy a linen belt. Tie it around your body. But do not put it into water.’
This is what the Lord said to me: “Go and purchase a linen undergarment for yourself. Put it around your waist. Do not let it touch water.”
Thus says the Lord to me, “Go and buy a linen loincloth and put it around your waist, and do not dip it in water.”
Thus says the Lord to me, “Go and buy a linen loincloth and put it round your waist, and do not dip it in water.”
This is what the Lord said to me: “Go and buy a linen ·belt [loincloth; underwear; C priests like Jeremiah wore linen undergarments; Ex. 28:39; 39:27–29; Ezek. 44:17–18] and put it around your ·waist [loins]. Don’t let the ·belt [loincloth; underwear] ·get wet [be washed; be brought into water].”
The destruction of the Jews is prefigured. 11 Why Israel was received to be the people of God, and why they were forsaken. 15 He exhorteth them to repentance. Thus saith the Lord unto me, Go, and buy thee a linen girdle, and put it upon thy loins, and put it not in water.
This is what the Lord said to me: “Buy a linen belt. Put it around your waist. Don’t let it get wet.”
The Lord told me to go and buy myself some linen shorts and to put them on; but he told me not to put them in water.
This is what the Lord said to me: “Go and buy yourself a linen undergarment and put it on, but do not put it in water.”
This is what the Lord said to me: “Go and buy a linen belt. Then put it around your waist. Don’t let the belt get wet.”
This is what the Lord told me: “Go and buy a linen belt for yourself, and put it around your waist. But don’t let it get wet.”
¶ Thus hath the LORD said unto me, Go and buy thee a linen girdle and put it upon thy loins, and thou shalt not put it in water.

Thus Yahweh said to me, “Go and buy yourself a linen belt and put it around your loins, but do not put it in water.”
Thus Yahweh said to me: “Go and buy for yourself a loincloth of linen and put it on your loins, but you must not place it in water.”
The Lord said to me, Go and buy a linen loincloth and wear it, but don’t wash it—don’t put it in water at all.
God told me, “Go and buy yourself some linen shorts. Put them on and keep them on. Don’t even take them off to wash them.” So I bought the shorts as God directed and put them on.
Thus says the Lord to me, “Go and buy yourself a linen waistband and put it upon your loins, and do not put it in water.”
This is what Yahweh said to me: “Buy a linen belt. Put it around your waist. Don’t let it get wet.”
The Lord said to me: Go buy yourself a linen loincloth; wear it on your loins, but do not put it in water.
This is what the Lord said to me: “Go and buy yourself a linen undergarment and put it around your waist, but do not put it in water.”
Thus the Lord said to me, “Go and buy yourself a linen waistband and put it around your waist, but do not put it in water.”
The Lord said to me: Go forth and purchase for yourself a loincloth. Wrap it around your loins, but do not dip it in water.
This is what the Lord said to me: “Go and buy a linen belt and put it around your waist. Don’t let the belt get wet.”
The Lord said to me, “Go and buy some linen shorts and put them on. Do not put them in water.”
The Lord said to me, “Go and buy a linen belt. Put it around your waist. But do not let it get wet.”
This is what the Lord said to me: “Go and buy a linen belt and put it around your waist, but do not let it touch water.”
This is what the Lord said to me: ‘Go and buy a linen belt and put it round your waist, but do not let it touch water.’
Thus the Lord said to me: “Go and get yourself a linen sash, and put it around your waist, but do not put it in water.”
The Lord said to me, “Go and buy a linen belt, and put it around yourself. But do not put it in water.”
This is what the Lord said to me: “Go and buy a linen loincloth and put it on, but do not wash it.”
Thus said the Lord to me, ‘Go and buy yourself a linen loincloth, and put it on your loins, but do not dip it in water.’
Thus said the Lord to me, ‘Go and buy yourself a linen loincloth, and put it on your loins, but do not dip it in water.’
Thus said the Lord to me, “Go and buy yourself a linen loincloth, and put it on your loins, but do not dip it in water.”

Thus saith Hashem unto me, Go and buy thee a linen [i.e., priestly] ezor (belt) and put it around thy waist, and put it not in mayim.
Thus says the LORD to me: “Go and buy yourself a linen girdle, and put it upon your loins. And do not put it in water.”
Thus says the Lord to me, “Go and buy a linen waistcloth, and put it on your loins, and do not dip it in water.”
Thus says the Lord to me, “Go and buy a linen waistcloth, and put it on your loins, and do not dip it in water.”
Thus Adonai said to me: “Go, and buy yourself a linen waistband and put it around your waist, and do not put it in water.”
The Eternal directed me. Eternal One: Go and buy a linen undergarment; put it around your waist next to your body beneath your clothes, but do not wash it.
Yahweh said to me, “Go, and buy yourself a linen belt, and put it on your waist, and don’t put it in water.”
The Lord saith these things to me, Go, and take in possession to thee a linen breech-girdle; and thou shalt put it on thy loins, and thou shalt not bear it into water.
Thus said Jehovah unto me, `Go, and thou hast got for thee a girdle of linen, and hast placed it on thy loins, and into water thou dost not cause it to enter:'
