In mine ears said the Lord of hosts: “In truth many houses shall be desolate, even the great and fair, without inhabitant.
In mine ears saith Jehovah of hosts, Of a truth many houses shall be desolate, even great and fair, without inhabitant.
In my ears the Lord of hosts said, “Be assured that many houses will become desolate, Even great and beautiful ones will be unoccupied.
In my [Isaiah’s] ears the Lord of hosts said, Of a truth many houses shall be desolate, even great and beautiful ones shall be without inhabitant.
In mine ears said the Lord of hosts, Of a truth many houses shall be desolate, even great and fair, without inhabitant.
I heard the Lord of Armies say: Indeed, many houses will become desolate, grand and lovely ones without inhabitants.
I heard the Lord of heavenly forces say this: Many houses will become total ruins, large, fine houses, with no one living in them.
Adonai-Tzva’ot said in my ears, “Many houses will be brought to ruin, large, magnificent ones left empty;
But the Lord All-Powerful has made this promise to me: Those large and beautiful homes will be left empty, with no one to take care of them.
In mine ears Jehovah of hosts [hath said], Many houses shall assuredly become a desolation, great and excellent ones, without inhabitant.
These things are in my ears, saith the Lord of hosts: unless many great and fair houses shall become desolate, without an inhabitant.
I heard the Lord All-Powerful make this oath: “I swear, all these houses will be destroyed. These big, fancy houses will be empty.
I have heard the Lord Almighty promise this: ‘All these great, beautiful houses will certainly become empty. There will be nobody to live in them.
The Lord of Armies announces this in my hearing: I swear that many houses will be deserted. Even the large and beautiful houses will be unoccupied.
The Lord of hosts has sworn in my hearing: “Surely many houses shall be desolate, large and beautiful houses, without inhabitant.

The Lord ·All-Powerful [Almighty; of Heaven’s Armies; T of hosts] said this ·to me [L in my ears]: “·The fine [The great; or Many] houses will ·be destroyed [become desolate]; the large and beautiful houses will be left empty [L of inhabitants].
This is in mine ears, saith the Lord of hosts. Surely many houses shall be desolate, even great and fair without inhabitant.

But the Lord Almighty has sworn your awful fate—with my own ears I heard him say, “Many a beautiful home will lie deserted, their owners killed or gone.
Doom to you who buy up all the houses and grab all the land for yourselves— Evicting the old owners, posting no trespassing signs, Taking over the country, leaving everyone homeless and landless. I overheard God-of-the-Angel-Armies say: “Those mighty houses will end up empty. Those extravagant estates will be deserted. A ten-acre vineyard will produce a pint of wine, a fifty-pound sack of seed, a quart of grain.”

In my ears the Lord of armies has sworn, “Many houses shall certainly become desolate, Even great and fine ones, without occupants.

I heard the Lord who rules over all announce a message. He said, “You can be sure that the great houses will become empty. The fine homes will be left with no one living in them.

I was there when the Eternal, the Commander of heavenly armies, told us what to expect. Eternal One: Make no mistake about it: many houses will be abandoned. Grand, beautiful houses with all the luxury will echo empty.
In my ears, Yahweh of Armies says: “Surely many houses will be desolate, even great and beautiful, unoccupied.
These things be in the ears of me, (yea,) the Lord of hosts (hath said); If many houses be not forsaken, great and fair, without dweller (If many houses be not abandoned, yea, large and beautiful, but with no inhabitants), believe ye not to me.
By the weapons of Jehovah of Hosts Do not many houses a desolation become? Great and good without inhabitant!
