For our transgressions are multiplied before Thee, and our sins testify against us. For our transgressions are with us, and as for our iniquities, we know them:

Our rebellions are numerous in your presence; our sins testify against us. Our rebellions are with us; we’re aware of our guilt:
For our crimes multiply before you, our sins testify against us; for our crimes are present with us; and our sins, we know them well:
How often have we sinned and turned against you, the Lord God? Our sins condemn us! We have done wrong.
For our transgressions are multiplied before thee, and our sins testify against us; for our transgressions are with us; and our iniquities, we know them:
For our iniquities are multiplied before thee, and our sins have testified against us: for our wicked doings are with us, and we have known our iniquities:
That’s because we committed crimes against our God. Our own sins speak out against us. We know we are guilty. We know we have sinned.
Lord, you see all the bad things that we have done. Our many sins show that we are wrong. We know about the wrong things that we have done. We agree that our sins are many.
Yes, our rebellious deeds are many before you, and our sins testify against us. Our rebellious deeds are with us, and as for our guilty deeds, we are aware of them.
For our transgressions are multiplied before you, and our sins testify against us; for our transgressions are with us, and we know our iniquities:

For our transgressions have multiplied before You, and our sins testify against us. For our transgressions are with us, and we know our iniquities:
We have done many wrong things against our God. Our sins show we are wrong. We know we have turned against God. We know the evil things we have done.
“For our transgressions before you are many, and our sins testify against us; for our transgressions are with us, and as for our iniquities, we acknowledge them:

For your sins keep piling up before the righteous God and testify against you. Yes, we know what sinners we are.
Our wrongdoings pile up before you, God, our sins stand up and accuse us. Our wrongdoings stare us down; we know in detail what we’ve done: Mocking and denying God, not following our God, Spreading false rumors, whipping up revolt, pregnant with lies, muttering malice. Justice is beaten back, Righteousness is banished to the sidelines, Truth staggers down the street, Honesty is nowhere to be found, Good is missing in action. Anyone renouncing evil is beaten and robbed. God looked and saw evil looming on the horizon— so much evil and no sign of Justice. He couldn’t believe what he saw: not a soul around to correct this awful situation. So he did it himself, took on the work of Salvation, fueled by his own Righteousness. He dressed in Righteousness, put it on like a suit of armor, with Salvation on his head like a helmet, Put on Judgment like an overcoat, and threw a cloak of Passion across his shoulders. He’ll make everyone pay for what they’ve done: fury for his foes, just deserts for his enemies. Even the far-off islands will get paid off in full. In the west they’ll fear the name of God, in the east they’ll fear the glory of God, For he’ll arrive like a river in flood stage, whipped to a torrent by the wind of God.

For our transgressions before you are many, our sins bear witness against us. Our transgressions are present to us, and our crimes we acknowledge:
For our wrongful acts have multiplied before You, And our sins have testified against us; For our wrongful acts are with us, And we know our wrongdoings:
For our transgressions are multiplied before You, And our sins testify against us; For our transgressions are with us, And we know our iniquities:
For our transgressions against you are numerous, and our sins bear witness against us. We are unable to forget our offenses, and we are well aware of our iniquities:
We have done many wrong things against our God; our sins show we are wrong. We know we have turned against God; we know the evil things we have done:
For you are aware of our many rebellious deeds, and our sins testify against us; indeed, we are aware of our rebellious deeds; we know our sins all too well.
That’s because we’ve done so many things he considers wrong. Our sins prove that we are guilty. The wrong things we’ve done are always troubling us. We admit that we have sinned.
For our offenses are many in your sight, and our sins testify against us. Our offenses are ever with us, and we acknowledge our iniquities:

Because peysha’einu (our rebellions) have multiplied before Thee, and chattoteinu (our sins) testify against us; for peysha’einu are still with us; and as for avonoteinu (our iniquities), we acknowledge them:
