For thus saith the Lord God: “My people went down aforetime into Egypt to sojourn there, and the Assyrian oppressed them without cause.
For thus saith the Lord Jehovah, My people went down at the first into Egypt to sojourn there: and the Assyrian hath oppressed them without cause.
For the Lord God says this, “My people went down at the first into Egypt to live there; and [many years later Sennacherib] the Assyrian oppressed them without cause.
For thus says the Lord God: My people went down at the first into Egypt to sojourn there; and [many years later Sennacherib] the Assyrian oppressed them for nothing. [Now I delivered you from both Egypt and Assyria; what then can prevent Me from delivering you from Babylon?]

For this is what the Lord God says: “At first my people went down to Egypt to reside there, then Assyria oppressed them without cause.

The Lord God proclaims: Long ago my people went down to reside in Egypt. Moreover, Assyria has oppressed them without cause.
For thus says Adonai Elohim: “Long ago my people went down to Egypt to live there as aliens, and Ashur oppressed them for no reason.
Long ago you went to Egypt where you lived as foreigners. Then Assyria was cruel to you,

The Lord God says, “First, my people went down to Egypt and became slaves. Then Assyria made them slaves.
The Almighty Lord says, ‘Long ago, my people went to live for some time in Egypt. At a later time, Assyria's army was cruel to them.
Yes, this is what the Lord God says. In the beginning, my people went down to Egypt to stay there for a while. Later Assyria oppressed them without cause.
For thus says the Lord God: “My people went down at the first into Egypt to sojourn there, and the Assyrian oppressed them for nothing.
For thus says the Lord God: “My people went down at the first into Egypt to sojourn there, and the Assyrian oppressed them for nothing.
This is what the Lord God says: “First my people went down to Egypt to live. Later Assyria ·made them slaves [oppressed them].
For thus saith the Lord God, My people went down afore time into Egypt to sojourn there, and Assyria oppressed them without cause.
This is what the Almighty Lord says: In the beginning my people went to Egypt to live there as foreigners. Later the Assyrians oppressed them for no reason.
When you went to live in Egypt as foreigners, you did so of your own free will; Assyria, however, took you away by force and paid nothing for you.
For this is what the Lord God says: “At first My people went down to Egypt to live there, then Assyria oppressed them without cause.
This is what the Lord God says: “First my people went down to Egypt to live. Later Assyria made them slaves.
For this is what the Lord says: “My people went down long ago into Egypt to live there; the Assyrian, too, has oppressed them without cause.
For thus has the Lord GOD said, My people went down aforetime into Egypt to sojourn there; and the Assyrian captured them without cause.
For thus saith the Lord God, My people went down aforetime into Egypt to sojourn there; and the Assyrian oppressed them without cause.

My people were tyrannized without cause by Egypt and Assyria, and I delivered them.
Again, the Master, God, says, “Early on, my people went to Egypt and lived, strangers in the land. At the other end, Assyria oppressed them. And now, what have I here?” God’s Decree. “My people are hauled off again for no reason at all. Tyrants on the warpath, whooping it up, and day after day, incessantly, my reputation blackened. Now it’s time that my people know who I am, what I’m made of—yes, that I have something to say. Here I am!”

Then the Lord God continues: Long ago my people went down to Egypt and settled there as aliens; the Assyrians also oppressed them without cause.
This is what the Lord God says: “First my people went down to Egypt to live. Later Assyria made them slaves.
For this is what the Sovereign Lord says: “In the beginning my people went to live temporarily in Egypt; Assyria oppressed them for no good reason.
The Lord and King continues, “Long ago my people went down to Egypt. They lived there for a while. Later, Assyria crushed them without any reason.
For this is what the Sovereign Lord says: “At first my people went down to Egypt to live; lately, Assyria has oppressed them.
For this is what the Sovereign Lord says: ‘At first my people went down to Egypt to live; lately, Assyria has oppressed them.
For thus says the Lord God: “My people went down at first Into Egypt to dwell there; Then the Assyrian oppressed them without cause.
For the Lord God says, “My people went down at first to Egypt to live there. Then the Assyrian made it hard for them without a reason.
This is what the Sovereign Lord says: “Long ago my people chose to live in Egypt. Now they are oppressed by Assyria.

For the Lord God saith these things, My people in the beginning went down into Egypt, that it should be there an earth-tiller, either a comeling, and Assur falsely challenged it without any cause. (For the Lord God saith these things, In the beginning my people went down to Egypt, so that they could be earth-tillers, or newcomers, there, and the Assyrians oppressed them without any cause.)
For thus said the Lord Jehovah: `To Egypt My people went down at first to sojourn there, And Asshur -- for nought he hath oppressed it.
