They stooped over, they have bowed down together; They could not rescue the burden [of their own idols], But have themselves gone into captivity.
[The gods] stoop, they bow down together; they cannot save [their own idols], but are themselves going into captivity.
They stoop, they bow down together; they could not deliver the burden, but themselves are gone into captivity.
The gods cower; they crouch together; they are not able to rescue the burden, but they themselves go into captivity.
They crouch down and cower together. They aren’t able to rescue the burden, but they themselves go into captivity.
They stoop and bow down together; they cannot save the burden, but themselves go into captivity.
They are down on their knees to rescue the heavy load, but the images are still taken to a foreign country.
They bend, they are bowed down together; they could not deliver the burden, and themselves are gone into captivity.
They are consumed, and are broken together: they could not save him that carried them, and they themselves shall go into captivity.
But they all bowed down and fell to the ground. They couldn’t escape; they were all carried away like prisoners.
Those gods fall down and they lie together on the ground! They have no power to rescue their images. The gods themselves go as prisoners to a foreign land, together with their images.
The animals stoop. They bow down together. They are not able to save their burdensome load. They go into captivity.
They stoop; they bow down together; they cannot save the burden, but themselves go into captivity.
They stoop; they bow down together; they cannot save the burden, but themselves go into captivity.
·These gods will all ·bow [stoop and bow] down. They cannot save themselves but will all be carried away ·like prisoners [into captivity].
They are bowed down, and fallen together, for they could not rid them of the burden, and their soul is gone into captivity.
These gods stoop low and bow down together. They aren’t able to escape with heavy loads. They go away into captivity.
The idols cannot save themselves; they are captured and carried away. This is the end for Babylon's gods!
The gods cower; they crouch together; they are not able to rescue the burden, but they themselves go into captivity.
These false gods will all bow down. They cannot save themselves. They will all be carried away like prisoners.
They stoop, they bow down together, and they are not able to rescue the burden, but they themselves go off into captivity.
They stoop, they are fallen together; they could not escape from the burden, and their soul had to go into captivity.
They stoop, they bow down together; they could not deliver the burden, but themselves are gone into captivity.

The idols of Babylon, Bel and Nebo, are being hauled away on ox carts! But look! The beasts are stumbling! The cart is turning over! The gods are falling out onto the ground! Is that the best that they can do? If they cannot even save themselves from such a fall, how can they save their worshipers from Cyrus?
The god Bel falls down, god Nebo slumps. The no-god hunks of wood are loaded on mules And have to be hauled off, wearing out the poor mules— Dead weight, burdens who can’t bear burdens, hauled off to captivity.
They stoop, they bow down together; they could not deliver the burden, but themselves have gone into captivity.
These gods stoop low and bow down together. They aren’t able to escape with heavy loads. They go away into captivity.
They stoop and bow down together; unable to deliver those who bear them, they too go into captivity.
They stooped over, they have bowed down together; They could not rescue the burden, But have themselves gone into captivity.

They stoop and bow down together but are unable to transport their burden safely, and they too move forth into captivity.
These gods will all bow down. They cannot save themselves but will all be carried away like prisoners.
Together they bend low and kneel down; they are unable to rescue the images; they themselves head off into captivity.
The gods named Bel and Nebo are brought down in shame together. They aren’t able to save their own statues. They themselves are carried off as prisoners.
They stoop and bow down together; unable to rescue the burden, they themselves go off into captivity.
They stoop and bow down together; unable to rescue the burden, they themselves go off into captivity.

They get down, they bow down together. They could not save the heavy load, but are themselves carried away to another land.
Both the idols and their owners are bowed down. The gods cannot protect the people, and the people cannot protect the gods. They go off into captivity together.
They stoop, they bow down together; they cannot save the burden, but themselves go into captivity.

They stoop, they bow down together; they [Bel and Nevo, g-ds of Babylon] could not save the massa (burden), but their own selves are gone into shevi (captivity, Golus).

These “gods” bow and sink together, unable to escape the coming invasion; they march off into captivity.
They stoop and they bow down together. They could not deliver the burden, but they have gone into captivity.
and be all-broken together; those might not save the bearer, and the soul of them shall go into captivity. (and be altogether broken; they could not save their bearers-about, and now they themselves shall go into captivity.)
They have stooped, they have bowed together, They have not been able to deliver the burden, And themselves into captivity have gone.
