Thus saith the Lord, who maketh a way in the sea and a path in the mighty waters,
Thus saith Jehovah, who maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;
This is what the Lord says, He who makes a way through the sea And a path through the mighty waters,
Thus says the Lord, Who makes a way through the sea and a path through the mighty waters,
Thus saith the Lord, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;
This is what the Lord says— who makes a way in the sea, and a path through raging water,
This is what the Lord says – who makes a way in the sea, and a path through raging water,
The Lord says—who makes a way in the sea and a path in the mighty waters,
Here is what Adonai says, who made a way in the sea, a path through the raging waves;
I am the one who cut a path through the mighty ocean.
Thus saith Jehovah, who maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters,
Thus saith the Lord, who made a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters.
The Lord is making roads through the sea. He is making a path for his people, even through rough waters. The Lord says,
The Lord is the one who made a road through the sea for you to cross. You went on a dry path in the middle of the deep water.
This is what the Lord says, who makes a road through the sea and a path through mighty waters,
Thus says the Lord, who makes a way in the sea, a path in the mighty waters,
Thus says the Lord, who makes a way in the sea, a path in the mighty waters,
This is what the Lord says. He is the one who made a road through the sea [v. 2] and a path through ·rough [strong; mighty] waters.
Thus saith the Lord which maketh a way in the Sea, and a path in the mighty waters.
The Lord makes a path through the sea and a road through the strong currents.
Long ago the Lord made a road through the sea, a path through the swirling waters.
This is what the Lord says— who makes a way in the sea, and a path through surging waters,
This is what the Lord says. He is the one who made a road through the sea. Even through rough waters he made a path for his people.
This is what the Lord says — who makes a way through the sea, a path through the mighty waters,
Thus saith the LORD, who makes a way in the sea and a path in the mighty waters;
Thus saith the Lord, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;
Thus saith the Lord, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;
Thus says Yahweh, Who makes a way through the sea And a path through the mighty waters,
Thus says Yahweh, who makes a way in the sea and a path in the mighty waters,
I am the Lord, who opened a way through the waters, making a path right through the sea.
This is what God says, the God who builds a road right through the ocean, who carves a path through pounding waves, The God who summons horses and chariots and armies— they lie down and then can’t get up; they’re snuffed out like so many candles: “Forget about what’s happened; don’t keep going over old history. Be alert, be present. I’m about to do something brand-new. It’s bursting out! Don’t you see it? There it is! I’m making a road through the desert, rivers in the badlands. Wild animals will say ‘Thank you!’ —the coyotes and the buzzards— Because I provided water in the desert, rivers through the sunbaked earth, Drinking water for the people I chose, the people I made especially for myself, a people custom-made to praise me.
Thus says the Lord, who makes a way in the sea and a path in the mighty waters,
Yahweh makes a path through the sea and a road through the strong currents.

This is what the Lord says, the one who made a road through the sea, a pathway through the surging waters,
Long ago the Lord opened a way for his people to go through the Red Sea. He made a path through the mighty waters.
This is what the Lord says— he who made a way through the sea, a path through the mighty waters,

This is what the Lord says, Who makes a way through the sea and a path through the powerful waters,
I am the Lord, who opened a way through the waters, making a dry path through the sea.

Thus says Adonai, who makes a way in the sea and a path in the mighty waters.
This is what the Eternal One says, the One who does the impossible, the One who makes a path through the sea, a smooth road through tumultuous waters,
Yahweh, who makes a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters,
The Lord saith these things, that gave [a] way in the sea, and a path in running waters;
Thus said Jehovah, Who is giving in the sea a way, And in the strong waters a path.
