Forget what happened long ago! Don't think about the past.
—Remember not the former things, neither consider the ancient things:
Remember not former things, and look not on things of old.
So don’t remember what happened in earlier times. Don’t think about what happened a long time ago,
The Lord did all that for you, but now he says, ‘Forget those things that happened a long time ago. Do not think about past events.
Do not remember the former things. Do not keep thinking about ancient things.
“Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old.
“Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old.
The Lord says, “Forget what happened before, and do not ·think about [consider; dwell on] the past.
Remember ye not the former things, neither regard the things of old.
Forget what happened in the past, and do not dwell on events from long ago.
But the Lord says, “Do not cling to events of the past or dwell on what happened long ago.
“Do not remember the past events, pay no attention to things of old.
The Lord says, “Forget what happened before. Do not think about the past.
“Don’t remember the former things; don’t dwell on things past.
Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old.
Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
“Do not remember the former things, Nor carefully consider things of the past.
“You must not remember the former things, and you not must consider the former things.
But forget all that—it is nothing compared to what I’m going to do!
This is what God says, the God who builds a road right through the ocean, who carves a path through pounding waves, The God who summons horses and chariots and armies— they lie down and then can’t get up; they’re snuffed out like so many candles: “Forget about what’s happened; don’t keep going over old history. Be alert, be present. I’m about to do something brand-new. It’s bursting out! Don’t you see it? There it is! I’m making a road through the desert, rivers in the badlands. Wild animals will say ‘Thank you!’ —the coyotes and the buzzards— Because I provided water in the desert, rivers through the sunbaked earth, Drinking water for the people I chose, the people I made especially for myself, a people custom-made to praise me.
Do not remember the former things nor consider the things of old.
Forget what happened in the past, and do not dwell on events from long ago.
Remember not the events of the past, the things of long ago consider not;
“Do not call to mind the former things, Or consider things of the past.
“Do not call to mind the former things, Or ponder things of the past.
Do not linger thinking about events of the past; consider not the things of old.
The Lord says, “Forget what happened before, and do not think about the past.
“Don’t remember these earlier events; don’t recall these former events.
“Forget the things that happened in the past. Do not keep on thinking about them.
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.
‘Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.
“Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.
“Do not remember the things that have happened before. Do not think about the things of the past.
“But forget all that— it is nothing compared to what I am going to do.
