They shall be turned back, they shall be greatly ashamed, that trust in graven images, that say to the molten images, ‘Ye are our gods.’
They shall be turned back, they shall be utterly put to shame, that trust in graven images, that say unto molten images, Ye are our gods.
Those who trust in carved idols will be turned back, And utterly put to shame, Who say to cast images, “You are our gods.”
They shall be turned back, they shall be utterly put to shame, who trust in graven images, who say to molten images, You are our gods.
¶ They shall be turned back, they shall be greatly ashamed, that trust in graven images, that say to the molten images, Ye are our gods.
They will be turned back and utterly ashamed— those who trust in an idol and say to a cast image, ‘You are our gods!’
They will be turned back and utterly ashamed – those who trust in an idol and say to a cast image, “You are our gods! ”
Turned backward, utterly shamed are those who trust in idols, who say to a cast image, “You are our god!”
Those who trust in idols, who say to statues, ‘You are our gods,’ will be repulsed in utter shame.
Everyone who worships idols as though they were gods will be terribly ashamed.
They shall be turned back, they shall be covered with shame, that confide in graven images, that say to the molten images, Ye are our gods.
They are turned back: let them be greatly confounded, that trust in a graven thing, that say to a molten thing: You are our god.
But some of them have left me. They say to their gold statues, ‘You are my gods.’ They trust their false gods, but they will be disappointed and shamed.
But I will push away people who trust idols to help them. Those people will become ashamed. They say to images that they have made, “You are our gods.”
They will be turned back and completely disgraced— those who trust in an idol, those who say to molten images, “You are our gods.”
They are turned back and utterly put to shame, who trust in carved idols, who say to metal images, “You are our gods.”
They are turned back and utterly put to shame, who trust in carved idols, who say to metal images, “You are our gods.”
But those who trust in idols, who say to their ·statues [idols; carved images], ‘You are our gods’ will be ·rejected [turned away/back] in ·disgrace [shame; humiliations].
They shall be turned back: they shall be greatly ashamed, that trust in graven images, and say to the molten images, Ye are our gods.
Then those who trust idols and those who say to statues, “You are our gods” will be turned away and put to shame.
All who trust in idols, who call images their gods, will be humiliated and disgraced.”
They will be turned back and utterly ashamed— those who trust in idols and say to metal-plated images: You are our gods!
But some people trust in idols. They say to their statues, ‘You are our gods.’ Those people will be rejected in disgrace.
Those who trust in carved idols will turn back and be completely disappointed, along with those who say to metal images, ‘You are our gods.’”
They shall be turned back; they shall be greatly ashamed, that trust in graven images, that say to the molten images, Ye are our gods.

They shall be turned back in utter shame who trust in idols; Who say to molten images, “You are our gods.”

They will be turned back and be utterly put to shame, Who trust in idols, Who say to molten images, “You are our gods.”
But those who place their trust in idols and who say to carved images, “You are our gods,” will be turned back in bitter shame.
But those who trust in idols, who say to their statues, ‘You are our gods’ will be rejected in disgrace.
Those who trust in idols will turn back and be utterly humiliated, those who say to metal images, ‘You are our gods.’
Some people trust in statues of gods. They say to them, ‘You are our gods.’ But they will be dishonored. They will be put to shame.
But those who trust in idols, who say to images, ‘You are our gods,’ will be turned back in utter shame.
But those who trust in idols, who say to images, “You are our gods,” will be turned back in utter shame.
They shall be turned back, They shall be greatly ashamed, Who trust in carved images, Who say to the molded images, ‘You are our gods.’

Meanwhile, those who put their stock in worthless images, who worship things impotent and breakable And say to idols, “You are our gods,” will be turned away and mortified.
“Those who trust in engraved images, who tell molten images, ‘You are our gods,’ will be turned back. They will be utterly disappointed.
(But others,) They (shall) be turned aback; (yea,) be they shamed with shame, that trust in a graven image; which say to a molten image, Ye be our gods.
Removed backward -- utterly ashamed, Are those trusting in a graven image, Those saying to a molten image, `Ye [are] our gods.'
