I said, “I shall not see the Lord, even the Lord, in the land of the living; I shall behold man no more with the inhabitants of the world.
I said, I shall not see Jehovah, even Jehovah in the land of the living: I shall behold man no more with the inhabitants of the world.
I said, “I will not see the Lord The Lord in the land of the living; I will no longer see man among the inhabitants of the world.
I said, I shall not see the Lord, even the Lord, in the land of the living; I shall behold man no more among the inhabitants of the world.
I said, I shall not see the Lord, even the Lord, in the land of the living: I shall behold man no more with the inhabitants of the world.
I said: I will never see the Lord, the Lord in the land of the living; I will not look on humanity any longer with the inhabitants of what is passing away.
I thought, I won’t see the Lord. The Lord is in the land of the living. I won’t look upon humans again or be with the inhabitants of the world.
“I said, ‘I will never again see Yah, Yah in the land of the living; I will look on human beings no more or be with those who live in this world.
I thought I would never again see you, my Lord, or any of the people who live on this earth.
I said, I shall not see Jah, Jah in the land of the living. With those who dwell where all has ceased to be, I shall behold man no more.
I said: I shall not see the Lord God in the land of the living. I shall behold man no more, nor the inhabitant of rest.
So I said, “I will not see the Lord Yah in the land of the living again. I will not see the people living on earth.
I thought, ‘I will not see the Lord again, while I live in this world. I will no longer see the people who live in the world. I will no longer live among them.’
I thought, I will not see the Lord— the Lord in the land of the living. I will no longer see anyone among the inhabitants of the world.
I said, I shall not see the Lord, the Lord in the land of the living; I shall look on man no more among the inhabitants of the world.
I said, I shall not see the Lord, the Lord in the land of the living; I shall look on man no more among the inhabitants of the world.
I said, “I will not see ·the Lord [the Lord, the Lord; L Yah, Yah; 26:4] in the land of the living again. I will not again see ·the people [a human being] who live on the earth.
I said, I shall not see the Lord, even the Lord in the land of the living: I shall see man no more among the inhabitants of the world.
I thought that I wouldn’t see the Lord in this world. Even with all the people in the world, I thought I would never see another person.
I thought that in this world of the living I would never again see the Lord Or any living person.
I said: I will never see the Lord, the Lord in the land of the living; I will not look on humanity any longer with the inhabitants of what is passing away.
I said, “I will not see the Lord in the land of the living again. I will not again see the people who live on the earth.
I said, “I won’t see the Lord in the land of the living; and I’ll no longer observe human beings among the denizens of the grave.
I said, I shall not see JAH, even JAH, in the land of the living; I shall behold man no more with the inhabitants of the world.
I said, I shall not see the Lord, even the Lord, in the land of the living: I shall behold man no more with the inhabitants of the world.
I said, I shall not see the Lord, even the Lord, in the land of the living: I shall behold man no more with the inhabitants of the world.
I said, “I will not see Yah, Yah in the land of the living; I will look on man no more among the inhabitants of the world.
I said, “I shall not see Yah! Yah in the land of the living! I shall no more look at humankind among the inhabitants of the world.
Never again will I see the Lord in the land of the living. Never again will I see my friends in this world.
This is what Hezekiah king of Judah wrote after he’d been sick and then recovered from his sickness: In the very prime of life I have to leave. Whatever time I have left is spent in death’s waiting room. No more glimpses of God in the land of the living, No more meetings with my neighbors, no more rubbing shoulders with friends. This body I inhabit is taken down and packed away like a camper’s tent. Like a weaver, I’ve rolled up the carpet of my life as God cuts me free of the loom And at day’s end sweeps up the scraps and pieces. I cry for help until morning. Like a lion, God pummels and pounds me, relentlessly finishing me off. I squawk like a doomed hen, moan like a dove. My eyes ache from looking up for help: “Master, I’m in trouble! Get me out of this!” But what’s the use? God himself gave me the word. He’s done it to me. I can’t sleep— I’m that upset, that troubled.
I said, I shall not see the Lord, even the Lord, in the land of the living; I shall see man no more with the inhabitants of the world.
I thought that I wouldn’t see Yah in this world. Even with all the people in the world, I thought I would never see another person.
I said, I shall see the Lord no more in the land of the living. Nor look on any mortals among those who dwell in the world.
I said, “I will not see the Lord, The Lord in the land of the living; I will no longer look on mankind among the inhabitants of the world.
I said, “I will not see the Lord, The Lord in the land of the living; I will look on man no more among the inhabitants of the world.
I said, “I will no longer see the Lord in the land of the living. I will no longer see any of my fellow men as I did when I dwelled in the world.
I said, “I will not see the Lord in the land of the living again. I will not again see the people who live on the earth.
“I thought, ‘I will no longer see the Lord in the land of the living, I will no longer look on humankind with the inhabitants of the world.
I said, “Lord, I’ll never see you again while I’m still alive. I’ll never see people anymore. I’ll never again be with those who live in this world.
I said, “I will not again see the Lord himself in the land of the living; no longer will I look on my fellow man, or be with those who now dwell in this world.
I said, ‘I will not again see the Lord himself in the land of the living; no longer will I look on my fellow man, or be with those who now dwell in this world.
I said, “I shall not see Yah, The Lord in the land of the living; I shall observe man no more among the inhabitants of the world.
I said, “I will not see the Lord, the Lord in the land of the living. I will not look upon man any more among the people of the world.
I said, “Never again will I see the Lord God while still in the land of the living. Never again will I see my friends or be with those who live in this world.
I said, I shall not see the Lord in the land of the living; I shall look upon mortals no more among the inhabitants of the world.
I said, I shall not see the Lord in the land of the living; I shall look upon mortals no more among the inhabitants of the world.
I said, I shall not see the Lord in the land of the living; I shall look upon mortals no more among the inhabitants of the world.
I said, I shall not see the Lord in the land of the living; I shall look upon mortals no more among the inhabitants of the world.
I said, I shall not see Hashem, even Hashem, in the Eretz HaChayyim; I shall behold adam no more with the inhabitants of the world.
I said, I shall not see the Lord in the land of the living; I shall look upon man no more among the inhabitants of the world.
I said, I shall not see the Lord in the land of the living; I shall look upon man no more among the inhabitants of the world.
I said: “I will not see Adonai, Adonai, in the land of the living. I will look on humanity no longer among the inhabitants of the world.
I thought: That’s it. I will never again see the Eternal in the land of the living. I will never again enjoy the company of those alive in this world.
I said, “I won’t see Yah, Yah in the land of the living. I will see man no more with the inhabitants of the world.
I said, I shall not see the Lord God in the land of livers; I shall no more behold a man, and a dweller of rest. (I said, I shall no longer see the Lord God in the land of the living; I shall no longer see any person, or any other inhabitant of this world.)
I said, I do not see Jah -- Jah! In the land of the living, I do not behold man any more, With the inhabitants of the world.
