And your spoil shall be gathered like the gathering of the caterpillar; as the running to and fro of locusts shall he run upon them.
And your spoil shall be gathered as the caterpillar gathereth: as locusts leap shall men leap upon it.
Your spoil [of Israel’s foe] is gathered [by the people of Jerusalem] as the caterpillar gathers; As locusts swarming so people swarm on it.
And the spoil [of the Assyrians] is gathered [by the inhabitants of Jerusalem] as the caterpillar gathers; as locusts leap and run to and fro, so [the Jews spoil the Assyrians’ forsaken camp as they] leap upon it.
And your spoil shall be gathered like the gathering of the caterpiller: as the running to and fro of locusts shall he run upon them.
Your spoil will be gathered as locusts are gathered; people will swarm over it like an infestation of locusts.

They gathered spoil like insects; they rushed upon it like a swarm of locusts.
Your spoil is gathered as if stripped by shearer-worms; they run over it like a swarm of locusts.
We attack our enemies like swarms of locusts; we take everything that belongs to them.
And your spoil shall be gathered [like] the gathering of the caterpillar: as the running of locusts shall they run upon it.
And your spoils shall be gathered together as the locusts are gathered, as when the ditches are full of them.
You people stole things in war. Those things will be taken from you. Many will come and take your wealth. It will be like the times when locusts come and eat all your crops.
You nations, after the battle your valuable things will quickly disappear! It will seem like locusts have eaten them all. Yes, we will take it all, like a hungry crowd of locusts.
Your plunder will be taken away the way a caterpillar eats things up. People will swarm on it like a locust swarm.
and your spoil is gathered as the caterpillar gathers; as locusts leap, it is leapt upon.

Like ·locusts [or the caterpillar], your enemies will ·take away [gather; harvest] ·the things you stole in war [your plunder]. Like locusts ·rushing about [swarming], they will take your wealth.
And your spoil shall be gathered like the gathering of caterpillars: and he shall go against him like the leaping of grasshoppers.
You nations, your loot is gathered as grasshoppers harvest a crop. Like swarming locusts, people rush for your loot.
Their belongings are pounced upon and taken as loot.
Your spoil will be gathered as locusts are gathered; people will swarm over it like an infestation of locusts.
Like locusts, your enemies will take away the things you stole in war. Like locusts rushing about, they will take your wealth.
Your plunder is gathered as when grasshoppers gather; just like locusts pounce, people have pounced on it.
And your spoil shall be gathered like the gathering of the caterpillar: as the running to and fro of locusts shall he run upon them.

Just as locusts strip the fields and vines, so Jerusalem will strip the fallen army of Assyria!
God, treat us kindly. You’re our only hope. First thing in the morning, be there for us! When things go bad, help us out! You spoke in thunder and everyone ran. You showed up and nations scattered. Your people, for a change, got in on the loot, picking the field clean of the enemy spoils.

Your spoil is gathered as if by caterpillars; like a swarm of locusts men descend upon it.
Like locusts, your enemies will take away the things you stole in war. Like locusts rushing about, they will take your wealth.
Your plunder disappears as if locusts were eating it; they swarm over it like locusts.
Nations, what you have taken in battle is destroyed. It’s as if young locusts had eaten it up. Like large numbers of locusts, people rush to get it.
Your plunder, O nations, is harvested as by young locusts; like a swarm of locusts people pounce on it.

The things taken in war will be gathered as the caterpillar gathers. Men rush upon it like locusts.
Just as caterpillars and locusts strip the fields and vines, so the fallen army of Assyria will be stripped!

And your spoils shall be gathered together, as a bruchus, that is, (the) fruit of locusts, is gathered together, as when ditches be full thereof. (And their spoils shall be gathered up, like the gathering of the bruchi, that is, the fruit of the locusts, when the ditches be full of them.)
And gathered hath been your spoil, A gathering of the caterpillar, As a running to and fro of locusts is he running on it.
