For he saith, ‘Are not my princes altogether kings?
For he saith, Are not my princes all of them kings?
For Assyria says, “Are not my princes all kings?
For [the Assyrian] says, Are not my officers all either [subjugated] kings or their equal?
For he saith, Are not my princes altogether kings?
For he says, “Aren’t all my commanders kings?
He says: Aren’t my commanders all kings?
For [their king] says, ‘Aren’t all my commanders kings?
The king of Assyria says: My army commanders are kings!
For he saith, Are not my princes all kings?
For he shall say:
Assyria says to himself, ‘All of my officers are like kings!
He boasts, ‘All my army's officers are like kings!
This is what he says: Aren’t all of my officials kings?
for he says: “Are not my commanders all kings?
for he says: “Are not my commanders all kings?
The king of Assyria says to himself, ‘All of my ·commanders [princes] are like kings
For he saith, Are not my princes altogether Kings?
They ask, ‘Aren’t all our commanders kings?
He boasts, “Every one of my commanders is a king!
For he says, “Aren’t all my commanders kings?
The king of Assyria says to himself, ‘All of my commanders are like kings.
“Because this is what he is saying: ‘My commanders are all kings, are they not?
For he shall say, Are not my princes altogether kings?
For he saith, Are not my princes altogether kings?
For he saith, Are not my princes altogether kings?
For it says, “Are not my princes all kings?
For he says, “Are not my commanders altogether kings?
He will declare that every one of his princes will soon be a king, ruling a conquered land.
“Doom to Assyria, weapon of my anger. My wrath is a club in his hands! I send him against a godless nation, against the people I’m angry with. I command him to strip them clean, rob them blind, and then push their faces in the mud and leave them. But Assyria has another agenda; he has something else in mind. He’s out to destroy utterly, to stamp out as many nations as he can. Assyria says, ‘Aren’t my commanders all kings? Can’t they do whatever they like? Didn’t I destroy Calno as well as Carchemish? Hamath as well as Arpad? Level Samaria as I did Damascus? I’ve eliminated kingdoms full of gods far more impressive than anything in Jerusalem and Samaria. So what’s to keep me from destroying Jerusalem in the same way I destroyed Samaria and all her god-idols?’”
For he says, “Are not my princes altogether kings?
They ask, ‘Aren’t all our commanders kings?
For he says, “Are not my commanders all kings?”
For it says, “Are not my officers all kings?
For it says, “Are not my princes all kings?
For he says, “Are not my commanders all kings?
The king of Assyria says to himself, ‘All of my commanders are like kings.
Indeed, he says: ‘Are not my officials all kings?
‘Aren’t all my commanders kings?’ he says.
‘Are not my commanders all kings?’ he says.
“Are not my commanders all kings?” he says.
For he says, ‘Are not my princes altogether kings?
For it says, “Are not my princes all kings?
He will say, ‘Each of my princes will soon be a king.
For he says: ‘Are not my commanders all kings?
For he says: ‘Are not my commanders all kings?
For he says: “Are not my commanders all kings?
For he says: “Are not my commanders all kings?
For he saith, Are not my sarim altogether melachim?
for he says: “Are not my commanders all kings?
for he says: “Are not my commanders all kings?
For he says: “Aren’t all my princes kings?
The victories make them think they’re invincible: The king of Assyria says: “Aren’t all of my princes destined to be kings? Calno fell just like Carchemish. I took Hamath as easily as Arpad. Samaria, too, fell like Damascus.
For he says, “Aren’t all of my princes kings?
For he shall say, Whether my princes be not kings (al)together? (For he shall say, Shall not all my princes, or all my leaders, be kings?)
For he saith, `Are not my princes altogether kings?
