“Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed
Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and to the writers that write perverseness;
Woe (judgment is coming) to those [judges] who issue evil statutes, And to those [magistrates] who constantly record unjust and oppressive decisions,
Woe to those [judges] who issue unrighteous decrees, and to the magistrates who keep causing unjust and oppressive decisions to be recorded,
Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed;
Woe to those enacting crooked statutes and writing oppressive laws
Woe to those enacting crooked statutes and writing oppressive laws
Doom to those who pronounce wicked decrees, and keep writing harmful laws
Woe to those who enact unjust decrees and draft oppressive legislation
You people are in for trouble! You have made cruel and unfair laws
Woe unto them that decree iniquitous decrees, and to the writers that prescribe oppression,
Woe to them that make wicked laws: and when they write, write injustice:
Just look at those lawmakers who write evil laws and make life hard for the people.
It will be very bad for people who make cruel laws that are not fair.
Woe to those who prescribe unjust decrees, and to those who issue oppressive rulings,
Woe to those who decree iniquitous decrees, and the writers who keep writing oppression,
Woe to those who decree iniquitous decrees, and the writers who keep writing oppression,
·How terrible it will be for [L Woe to] those who make ·unfair [evil; unjust] ·laws [decrees], and those who ·write [or issue] ·laws that make life hard for people [oppressive regulations/edicts].

How horrible it will be for those who make unjust laws and who make oppressive regulations.
You are doomed! You make unjust laws that oppress my people.
Woe to those enacting crooked statutes and writing oppressive laws
How terrible it will be for the lawmakers who write evil laws. They write laws that make life hard for people.
“How terrible it will be for the one who enacts unjust decrees, for those who write oppressive laws that they have prescribed
¶ Woe unto those that establish unrighteous laws and that wilfully prescribe tyranny
Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed;
Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed;
Woe to those who enact evil statutes And to those who constantly record mischief,
Ah! Those who decree decrees of evil, and writers who have written harm,
Woe to unjust judges and to those who issue unfair laws, says the Lord,
Doom to you who legislate evil, who make laws that make victims— Laws that make misery for the poor, that rob my destitute people of dignity, Exploiting defenseless widows, taking advantage of homeless children. What will you have to say on Judgment Day, when Doomsday arrives out of the blue? Who will you get to help you? What good will your money do you? A sorry sight you’ll be then, huddled with the prisoners, or just some corpses stacked in the street. Even after all this, God is still angry, his fist still raised, ready to hit them again.
Woe to those who decree unrighteous decrees and who write unjust judgments which they have prescribed
How horrible it will be for those who make unjust laws and who make oppressive regulations.
Ah! Those who enact unjust statutes, who write oppressive decrees,
Woe to those who enact unjust statutes And to those who constantly record harmful decisions,
Woe to those who enact evil statutes And to those who constantly record unjust decisions,
Woe to those who enact unjust laws and enforce oppressive statutes,
How terrible it will be for those who make unfair laws, and those who write laws that make life hard for people.
Beware, those who enact unjust policies; those who are always instituting unfair regulations,
How terrible it will be for you who make laws that aren’t fair! How terrible for you who write laws that make life hard for others!
Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees,
Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees,
“Woe to those who decree unrighteous decrees, Who write misfortune, Which they have prescribed
It is bad for those who make laws that are not fair. It is bad for those who make it hard for people.
What sorrow awaits the unjust judges and those who issue unfair laws.
Ah, you who make iniquitous decrees, who write oppressive statutes,
Ah, you who make iniquitous decrees, who write oppressive statutes,
Ah, you who make iniquitous decrees, who write oppressive statutes,
Woe to those who make iniquitous decrees, who write oppressive statutes,
Woe unto them that decree unrighteous chukim, and that write decrees of oppression;
“Woe to those who decree wicked decrees and write grievous things,
Woe to those who decree iniquitous decrees, and the writers who keep writing oppression,
Woe to those who decree iniquitous decrees, and the writers who keep writing oppression,
Oy to those enacting unjust decrees and recording corrupt legislation,
How awful it will be for those who mandate wickedness and legalize oppression, denying justice to the needy, Taking away the rights of the poor among My people. Such leaders intend to make helpless widows and orphans their prey.
Woe to those who decree unrighteous decrees, and to the writers who write oppressive decrees
Woe to them that make wicked laws, and they writing have written unrightfulness, (Woe to them who make wicked laws, and they writing have written injustice,)
Wo [to] those decreeing decrees of iniquity, And writers who have prescribed perverseness.
